#these are also pretty old #but gave me an excuse to capture likeness and face shapes in dragons. the designs still hold up quite well but there are some things #i could probably change about them #btw the colored teardrop scales along will's side shimmer in a way that look like dimly flickering lights :) #i also gave him stripes cause of all the tigers in his room #dustin's frill is supposed to resemble his hair #and the yellow spots over the green reference dart :') #i gave byler accents of their respective colors to make up for the switch (blue undertones on mike's horns and sides) (faint yellow stripes #along will's scales) #el has the forehead marking because of her powers #max isn't a firescales she just has blue eyes to retain that feature #i didn't really know where to go with lucas but i tried to make his frills resemble his faded flat top in s4 #and you could argue that the spots along his back vaguely resemble pebbles or his camouflage. idk #that's all i think sorry for the lengthy tags #stranger things #wings of fire #dragon #stranger things au #byler #<- kind of but not really but you guys get it
