*le sigh.*
I don't include specific physical descriptors in my content (and even if it's targeted towards a certain demographic, I keep it general anyway) because I aim for inclusivity. As the reader, I want you to be as immersed as possible in the stuff that I write.
I am an African-American woman who is rocking a bald fade (yes, I know I look like I could be part of the Dora Milaje). I came up reading fanfiction and didn't see much if any representation in it. I don't know how many people (black people especially) coming across my blog would find it relatable if I tailored the reader to fit how I look into my content.
I say this to say that just like black women (and black people) aren't a monolith, so, too, are the people who come across my work. They are from all walks of life be it race, ethnicity, sexuality, body type, nationality, etc., and the list goes on. Vibe wit it, babes. ❤️
ETA: This is just what I do with my writing. Everyone's approach to fanfiction is different so if what you're doing is working for you, keep at it.

I'm aware I'm posting this without context of the rest of the post but I already had OP blocked at the moment. Look, the moment anyone says "not to be homophobic" are people who already need some form of self-reflection over their own biases and unexamined bigotry (both internalized and not).
It is it's own discourse over how, yes cis white gay men do have more privilege compared to the rest of us (queer pocs, etc.), but to say that they have power/privilege over straight ppl makes me question what planet you people live in. And further more, the issue being brought up was in relation to fucking mcrp that's ran by one of his cis-straight white friends (fWhip).
Specifically how he has influence over him 'cause he's gay and fWhip is straight or something??? For real what timeline do you guys live in?
But okay
First, I get people feeling like the Xornoth plot took over most of s1 lore. I get it. It's one of the only other arcs I cared about along with the wither rose-cod wars.
But I would argue that the Xornoth arc didn't just served Scott's character but also Shrub (Shelby) and maybe even Gem.
Idk, if you people watched Shelby's pov this would've been obvious to anyone. The lore literally states that Xornoth got there because they followed Shrub from the nether and Shrub constantly had to fight and discourse with Xornoth through the whole arc.
Gem had an important role of taking care of the dragon egg, exorcise a possessed Sausage, and seal away Xornoth.
Like how do you people miss that? Unless you don't watch these women's povs at all.
After all it's mcrp, everybody's the main character of their own pov, on their own videos, in their own channel.
Also, I feel like I need to bring this up. But Xornoth wasn't a Scott only idea. The idea came from when fWhip saw Scott sneaking around, messing with Shelby on stream with a voice modulator, and decided not to snitch. In fact, the idea of Xornoth became convenient since fWhip was receiving harassment for being the villain at that time.
Second, I won't be elaborating too much on the whole WCSMP thing but it does fall on the same vain as with the life series.
Guys, these things are not scripted. The players have brought this up a couple of times but the fanbase keep accusing them of such. They are playing a game. NOT FOLLOWING YOUR HEADCANONS, PREDICTIONS, OR LORE.
Impulse and Skizz have gone indepth about their experiences with the games in their podcast about how legitimately unpredictable it gets. Hate it as you would to admit, but Scott really is just that good at the game. He's literally a top MCC player.
Y'all could have legitimate criticisms over Scott but some of these are not it.
