World over both the models have been tried and we can safely conclude that both have been failures. Communist countries have failed because the Enterprise feels why take the risk when returns are equally shared. Labour becomes complacent because they get their share of return no matter how much they contribute. On the other hand in Capitalist countries, the Enterprise becomes absolutely powerful and starts dictating government policies in their favour which leads to a disproportionate distribution of wealth in which the rich start becoming richer. Again labour has no incentive to work hard because they feel returns are minimal. In the long run, both the models are not sustainable and the economy collapses. In both cases, a substantial number of the population remain poor.

We must keep in mind that these models are purely of Western origin. The entire argument is based on monetary returns. However, there is another model, another philosophy. This is the Ram Rajya Model or the Ram Rajya Philosophy.

The Ram Rajya Model accepts the universal truth that no matter what, in every economy there will always be the rich and the poor who will have to live side by side. No amount of planning can make everyone equally rich! So how is it possible to establish Harmony in such a scenario? The Ram Rajya Model believes it has an answer to that. It believes if every citizen is given equal dignity, no matter what their financial status is, harmony can be established in society. In Ram Rajya money is not the priority but dignity is.

Capitalism, Socialism and Communism did not even exist then. So what was the secret? Even during those times, there were poor people. And there were the rich.
