since padme is a normie and cant merge her consciouness with the force after death, i imagine anakin watching over her reincarnated forms through the millennia. alternately being fond and exasperated and amused at the infinite incarnations of the young girl he knew many eons ago.

when she finally reaches nirvana, although she can never join anakin & the others as an enlightened bodhisattva of the Force, he is at least there to guide her into her eternal bliss.

oneness with the force.

they look at one another, and padme (or the person who once was padme) just knows anakin has been there all along, watching over her like a guardian.

they smile, like old friends, both at peace.

the person who once was padme, before their consciousness fades, puts their hand to Anakin's ghostly face.

are you an angel? the person who was padme repeats Anakin's own words from centuries ago, with a small amused smile.

no, Anakin answers laughingly, then his eyes turn sincere: but there was still good in me, he responds, repeating Padme's words back, in infinite gratefulness.

and then the person who was padme, full of peace and happiness, looks away and forward to their rest.

Anakin holds their hand and leads them to the Light, feeling the presence join the Force in everlasting balance.
