my nephew slept over for the first time on saturday and he’s entered his fun facts era and i love it so much bc i am also in my fun facts era (eternally) and i love hearing other people’s fun facts

#autistic things #for me not for him #he’s just a little kid who’s learning lots and lots of things and wants to share them #cos that’s what kids do #my fun facts are autism flavoured #it’s cute cos the first time he came here #we went to the beach and we were looking for crabs #and we met this girl who was a few years older than him #my nephew was 5 then i think (he’s 6 now) and she was maybe 7? #and she’d clearly just learnt the word habitat bc she said it like every other sentence #and this weekend he was like that with the word predator #i love watching kids learn things and see how proud they are of it #as they should be!! #to be alone with queue
