I mostly made this as my own little reference but I spent a good amount of time translating the Sonic Gang into my style and I really like how they came out!

I think Shadow is my favorite tbh.

A bit of explanation/my thought process below the cut

Sonic: I’ve been watching a bunch of Sonic merch videos and realized how fucking cool his SOAP shoes were so I gave him those and it was around then that the footage from the new Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games came out and I thought his little shirt was so cute I just gave him a sporty outfit.

Knuckles: Very Indiana Jones/treasure hunter inspired with similar patterns on his arm bands to Tikal. I’d imagine he’d want to honor his ancestry even if it was in a small way.

Rouge: She’s the love of my life so I basically just wanted her to be comfortable and cute tbh

Shadow: I love the idea of Shadow wearing a Hawaiian shirt since that old fake Sonic Boom leak sooo yeah. I did think it would be a bit out of character if he only wore a bright red fun shirt tho so he’s got a good ol’ dark faux-leather jacket over it and black ripped jeans too.

Tails: He’s just a cute little mechanic.

Amy: If she’s going to running after Sonic then she’ll need a dress that isn’t just up-skirt shot bait. Also glasses cuz this girl has got to be blind to be constantly mistaking every hedgehog for Sonic.

Cream: Her ears are the only major change I’ve made to her cuz it always pissed me off as a kid that the inside of them always faced the back of her head. Her fashion inspiration is Mabel Pines.
