I wasn’t gonna show off this scene so soon buuuuuuuut I’m proud of how it turned out so have some demon-possessed Sora for fun :3. Context? What the fuck is that? Fuck you, give me 200 dollars for context:
The shadows swell silently toward that vessel, unnoticed by all as they successfully pour into his unsuspecting body. They make quick and easy contact with the palpable darkness already existing inside his heart, just as their “friend” had promised them there would be. And through that darkness, they find a conduit to take complete control as a vessel intended for someone else is briefly borrowed for another.
Sora can only let out a small, barely audible gasp when they overwhelm him, his thoughts forced into silence, his autonomy ripped away from him entirely. They force his body into motion, pushing their newfound puppet forward in an initially unstead, stumbling step. The sudden movement isn’t lost on Ventus, Donald, or Goofy as they watch him approach the pond, his movements slow and rigid as his back remains turned to them.
“Uh, Sora?” Ventus speaks up, frowning. “Are you ok?”
He receives no answer. Instead, Sora continues onward, the shadows leading him into the shallows of the pond itself. He only comes to a stop as he comes to stand behind Naveen, startling the still-forlorn prince in the process. “Hm?” he glances back at Sora, who’s essentially towering over him, his face all but unreadable from the prince’s low vantage point. “Er… yes, Sora? Do you need anything?”
Sora still says nothing, unable to speak, unable to do anything at all on his own volition. All he can do is what the shadows command of his body, as they pull his hands down to wrap themselves tightly around Naveen’s tiny amphibian body. The prince lets out a strangled gasp amidst this practically crushing grip, confused and frightened by this unexpected turn of events.
“S-Sora! W-what are-” he stops short, a fearful gasp only barely managing to escape him when he gets a good look at Sora’s eyes. Not a single speck of color rests within them, and even their whites have been overtaken as they’re both filled with nothing but unnaturally pitch-black darkness, both of them every bit as void and empty as his expression currently is. Naveen’s second attempt at letting out a terrified cry at this is cut off, however, as Sora’s already unforgiving hold on him is forced to constrict to an even more painful degree. Fortunately for the prince, however, by now the others have picked up on the fact that something is clearly wrong here.
“Sora!” Ventus calls, rushing forward into the pond. “What’s going on?”
“What are you doing with Naveen?” Goofy asks, concerned.
“Say something, will you?!” Donald fusses impatiently.
At this, Sora finally glances back at the trio, his face sharpened into a glare, his eyes still overwhelmed by inky shadows. Ventus, Donald, and Goofy all stop immediately, immensely taken aback by what they’re seeing and the aura of darkness now surrounding him. At the same time, Tiana hops forward into the pond, already on high alert as Louis and Ray both rush to follow.
“Naveen!” she calls, but the prince is unable to answer.
“Hey now!” Ray exclaims. “What’s gotten into that baw?”
“I-I dunno, but I sure don’t like the looks of it!” Louis squeaks, trembling all the while.
“Sora,” Ventus tries again, slower this time. He keeps his tone steady, careful, trying his best to convey just how worried and how afraid he really is at this unnerving juncture. At the thought that the darkness he’s seen in Sora’s heart has started spreading to an even more dangerous degree than he thought. “Listen to me. You need to put Naveen down, and-”
Before Ventus can take so much as another step forward, several large, sharp spikes, composed entirely of solid darkness, burst from the bottom of the pond beneath them. One of them nearly strikes Ventus, and it's enough to get him to stumble back, especially as several more shadowy spikes follow in their wake.
Donald and Goofy’s shared panicked cry is what draws his attention back to Sora, who’s taken to running out of the pond entirely, Naveen still tight in his hold. Without question, the trio follows, as do Tiana, Ray, and Louis, all of them intent on catching up to the pair to try and make some sort of sense of all this somehow.
“Sora, stop!” Donald shouts, casting a layer of ice to try and impede Sora’s path forward. He easily breaks through it with his own dark magic however, several small shards of shadow piercing it completely.
“What’s happening?” Tiana asks as she hops alongside Ventus as quickly as she can. “Why is Sora doing this?!”
“I don’t know!” Ventus shakes his head. “Something’s really wrong here. I’ve never seen him do anything like this before!”
“Neither have we!” Goofy adds just as urgently. “Well… except for that time Maleficent took control of him. Say, Donald, you don’t think-”
“No, couldn’t be,” the magician counters sternly. “This is something different. And whatever it is seems to want Naveen just as much as it wants Sora.”
“But why?!” Tiana presses anxiously.
The trio exchanges a fretful glance as they continue to run after Sora, none of them having any sort of good answer for such a question. They pursue him ever deeper into the bayou, his magic sparking up more and more dark spikes to try and stop them from following him. With those obstacles in place, he soon starts to outpace all of them, the shadows driving him onward to some unknown destination. As they force him even further into the depths of darkness than he already is on his own.
