i just played the wonderful "In Stars and Time" demo by @insertdisc5 and had an absolutely fantastic time!! everyone should go and play it and follow them right now!! genuinely i love every aspect of this game already so much! i haven't felt this way about a game in so so long (i even took notes on it while playing!! augh!!) and i'm so looking forward to following its development!!

the time looping mechanic is going to shatter my heart into teeny tiny pieces <3 i love the "memory equip" potential, as terrifying as that is!

i adore the combat mechanic!!! the rock paper scissors is sooo fun and fresh and i had a blast playing through combats with the different Sadnesses! ALSO THE ATTACK THAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DO THE SAME ATTACK FIVE TIMES IN A ROW. AUGH <3

THE CHARACTERS . i adored how much character you could feel even in this demo! i love them all so much! i feel like i could already write a lil thesis about them. SIF IS SO . i absolutely cannot wait to watch Sif break and at the same time he is soooo. i love them.

^ incredible. and how sif responds to the time loop. that trap part was so brutal though and SO well done. the dread and buildup. impeccable!!

i cannot even begin on the other four main characters. the character writing is really so incredible in this short demo!!! i have read entire series of novels where the characters aren't as developed as they are here!! there's so much depth and yet they are also all so silly and funny! is Mirabelle okay with the amount of responsibility granted to her! is Isabeau really as oblivious as he pretends to be (he noticed the Favor tree issue so!!! what!!!)! what is Odile studying (and is she single)! why is Bonnie here oh my god !! <3333

fascinating worldbuilding. i want to chew on it. so keen at the clear amount of love, care and effort into the setting. multiple settings!! multiple places!! the careful worldbuilding scattered effortlessly throughout! MASTERY of show don't tell!!

all the little hints to the time loop mechanic in the first loop made me grin so hard. saying a better joke about plums to Mirabelle! finding the shopkeep's secret openphrase for the storageroom! as well as the obvious ones!

i could've included like 500000 screenshots but i will not because! go and play it yourself!! i will probably be playing it again haha if not waiting patiently!

all in all, what a wonderful experience!!!! thrilled to see where In Stars and Time goes next!
