why are all my favorite characters in the second arc i’m going to go insane

#dawnwalker #it’s a struggle #i love the first arc with my entire heart but. so many new people get introduced in arc 2 #or just get cooler #arc 2 has marion whitlock and my unnamed enchanter sigil dude #and it’s got the epic worldbuilding moments with the festival of souls #plus syl and dwight get stones and elrend breaks his oaths #but then like. arc one you get carver and ophilia and bloodhare and just the monster hunter vibe #love them both but i’m going to claw at the walls if i don’t flesh out arc 2 plot more #i might give up on arc one stuff for the day and just stare at my funky enchanter dude willing him into existence #i have such good ideas for powers and an arc but he needs more personality and an appearance. also a name and background #well i kinda have a background. sorta. he’s vaguely inspired by one of my favorite characters ever who HAS SO MUCH WASTED POTENTIAL OH MY GO #i could go insane over that character. for hours. #but i’m stealing his concept and making him my own because he deserves better #the book/show he’s in suffers from too many character syndrome so it’s only fair that i get my claws on him #watch me make him a dragon slayer. or some somehow still alive friend of ophilia #we will see
