Once again thinking about divorcée Steve Harrington subconsciously leaving room in his house for Eddie… the medicine cabinet is half empty, he only uses one side of the closet, there’s an empty crate next to the record player… He even has a guitar that he bought on a whim once, a man possessed, and he’s never played it. Never even had the urge. Just knew he had to have it in his house.

Wolf Moon
hybrid!steve x fem!reader
Here's the thing: I had a request for vampire Eddie to be with reader while on her period. I wrote the vampire!eddie version (yet to be posted) but I also got inspired to bring back hybrid!steve from the fic Don't Say You Need Me, and then this smut happened. There is backstory to why Steve is the way he is, (half vampire, half werewolf), but this can very easily be enjoyed as a standalone. wc: 1.7k
18+ONLY, smut, monster fucking, oral while reader is on her period, period sex, drinking blood, unprotected sex, good boy, size kink, creampie, a bit of consensual somnophilia. As a vampire, Steve is a chatty Cathy, but in beast mode, he does not speak.
Title inspired by the Type O Negative song Wolf Moon about a man who turns into a werewolf during the full moon and has sex with a woman while on her period.
On the 28th day, you knew he would return, aroused by the scent from your monthly cycle. You were naked and open, ready as an offering to him.
Steve  had been coming to you in his hybrid form for months now, and you’d made it clear that he could start without you, even if you were asleep when he arrived.  You were drowsy when you heard heavy footfalls drop down from the open window in the living room, and so it didn’t register at first, but then you could feel the shadow of the beastly presence next to your bed, watching you, working his cock in his fist.
The red moon through the open window let you get a glimpse of his thick head of honey brown hair, matching the color of the rest of the fur on his naked body as he rose from his crouched position, massive, clawed hands flexing at his sides.
For a second, you thought you were dreaming, but you felt your legs being spread, and then you were getting pulled to the edge of the bed by your ankles.  He always tried to be soft for you though,  even at the height of his hunger.  He sniffed the air, let out a low snarl, and then his face was between your legs, smelling and flicking out licks to gather the blood leaking from your slit. The satisfaction made him shiver; the hair that grew from his face dragging soft on your inner thighs.
“Good boy,” you breathed, finding the awakening strength to reach down and run your fingers through his hair.  You settled your palm there, listening to the way he lapped you up, and each long pull of his tongue built on your arousal.
On appearance alone, when Steve was in his hybrid form, he looked like a wolfman of lore—a bipedal werewolf.  But, your sweet boy was still a vampire with vampire needs, and he had to feed on a regular basis.  There were blood substitutes on the market that gave him some nourishment, but you knew how much he craved your blood, in particular, and you wanted to give it to him.
The tip of his abnormally long, pointed tongue lapped through your folds.  When he’d first fed on you this way, it was for nourishment alone; one cold night after he’d been feral and without shelter for days.  You’d taken him in your arms that night, ready to let him bite into your flesh, but instead, he’d followed the smell of your menstruation and sank down between your legs.  You'd held his head there and shuddered as you came, letting him ingest every drop.
Currently, in your bedroom, his tongue found your hole, pulsing deep inside, feeding on your crimson gift.  He lifted his head to find your gaze, and in the shadows of the dimly lit room, you could see the dark wetness glistening on his mouth and staining his facial hair.  Staring at you with piercing yellow irises, the point of his heavy tongue dropped to  your cunt, making a few circles there, wanting to see your reaction.
You sucked your bottom lip into your teeth and bucked your hips up.  “Are you full, baby?” You whimpered.  “I need to cum in your mouth.”
He lifted  your hips up with his superhuman strength and started to drag his tongue a few times from the tight little hole at the back, between your cheeks, all the way back to your clit, swallowing hard with each pass; drinking your uterine blood.  You’d found out that period blood was a delicacy to vampires and none of yours ever went to waste now that you had Steve.
His greedy sucking started at your bundle of nerves again, and then the white hot heat spread though you as you came undone, bucking against his face, thrashing your head on the pillow.  “Fuck, Stevie, I’m cumming.”  His tongue entered you again and your hole spasmed around it, needing more.
When he rose up, you caught the product of his feast dripping from his fur and fangs like he’d just enjoyed the fruits of a kill.  You stared up at him, reached down to pump two fingers inside of yourself, and then you lifted up, offering them to him.  Your soaked fingers disappeared inside his mouth to the base, catching the edge of one of his fangs as he nursed on them.  His low growling became a soft, aching whimper through his nose as he swallowed.
You could feel his thick, hard, monster cock rubbing on you now, picking up your slick before the tip found your hole and your mouth went slack at the stretch.  “Yes please baby please,” you writhed, rocking at the edge of the bed, begging him to fill you.  He hesitated with a grunt, and you could tell when the human part of him was trying to control his demons, not wanting to hurt you.  You met his eyes, “fuck me, Stevie, split me open.”
With a bit of a roar, he pushed more of it in, making your hole clench as it stretched out.  He put one hairy, muscular knee on the bed, held both of your legs up by the thighs, and began to thrust, mercilessly pounding it in, but you urged him on.  Pretty soon, you were slapping against his body fur, breasts bouncing as he impaled you deep with his length.  “You stretch me out so good, baby, holy fuck, you’re gonna make me cum again.”  It wouldn’t be the first time another orgasm followed close to the first with Steve; no human cock had ever found that special spot deep inside of you before.
Your fingers found your clit, swiping fast, arching back with pleasure at the wet sounds your sex was making and the pierce of his claws in your flesh.
You wanted to wait for him, but before you knew it, you were exploding around cock, whining as your fingers worked through the high.  Steve was close behind, hips stuttering, locking you against him with strong, calloused hands while he filled you up with his seed, grunting as he emptied himself.
Regular vampire Steve would stretch out on the bed and snuggle you at that point.  He’d clean you up and make out with you until you were both ready to go again, or take a nap, but then he’d have to be back at his place before dawn.
In hybrid form, Steve was a feral beast, driven solely by carnal desires.  Once his cock slipped from you, allowing your hole to drip cum and menstrual blood, you knew that he would leave.  He’d fed and he’d claimed you, and then it was time for him to belong to the night again.
He always found his way back to you because he loved you, but those were words yet unspoken.
Some things are just understood.

When Steve gets trapped in the Upside Down, Vecna offers him a deal: become lieutenant of the monster armies and gain some of Vecna’s power, in exchange for being the bait to lure his friends back to rescue him. Steve takes the deal, believing wholeheartedly in the Party’s ability to save him and finally kill Vecna, but discovers quickly that his power to infiltrate the memories and dreams of people in the real world is very limited; in fact, he can only visit one person in his new monster form.
Thus begins Steve’s haunting of Eddie Munson, who, coincidentally, has been in love with Steve since they started secretly hooking up after a Halloween party in 1984.
“Something wrong, Munson?” says a voice, and Eddie yelps and rolls out of bed.
When he pops up on the other side, he sees a very alive Steve Harrington perched on his own bedroom windowsill. His face is exaggeratedly wild and sharp, and his hair is windswept. His skin is silvery-blue in the moonlight. His fingernails are dark and long and curved like claws. He’s in a Hawkins Swim t-shirt and light wash Levi’s, and there’s dried blood on his bare arms.
He’s like the film negative of a boy Eddie knows by heart, like a cover version of his favorite song.
And then he smiles, and his teeth are sharp.
“Hey, babe,” Steve says. “Did you miss me?”
Eddie, bravely, faints.
longer excerpt under the cut:
The vine around his left wrist uncurls, and Steve lifts that arm automatically to see his palm glowing like a lantern, and more than a dozen strings of light shooting straight up at the sky. The strings are golden-hot and hard to look at, too much on Steve’s overloaded senses.
“Look at that,” Vecna says, moving that large clawed hand from Steve’s face to wrap around Steve’s free wrist. “That’s a power I never gained, try as I might. All that love and affection you have for your friends has connected you securely to them. Even as a dead man, you have ties to the world above. Eleven did not plan for that. Could not plan for that.”
Steve stares at the lights, too, and the more he looks, he feels like he can see differences between them. One seems weaker than the others and looks like wood smoke and has a ruddy red tinge that, for some reason, Steve knows is the string tying him to Will Byers. One is pinkish and looks wrapped in lace: Nancy. Robin’s looks like water dripped with nail polish, swirls of navy blue. He can pick out Dustin’s, then Lucas, El, Max, Jon, Erica, even Mike. Eddie.
He can’t think about this. He rips his gaze away.
“Why are you showing me this?”
“I can teach you how to visit them. How to talk to them,” Vecna says. “Through dreams and hallucinations, yes, but you could see them, and they could see you. See that you’re alive.”
“But trapped.”
“Yes,” Vecna says. “The only way either of us could ever truly leave this place is if Eleven opens the gates back up, or if Max dies to finish the ritual I began. And I’m assuming you’re not willing to do that second option.”
“Fuck you.”
“As I thought. So, here is my deal: if I give you my powers, it would not be for free. You will act as my lieutenant here in this realm. You will control the beasts in my stead, and do as I command. If you are convincing enough, your friends will come to rescue you, and when they do I won’t make you fight them, but I will be there to welcome them, and this will finally be finished.”
“Then why would I do this?” Steve laughs, incredulous. “Why would I draw them here, if they’re just going to die for it?”
“Because you doubt me when I say that I would win against them,” Vecna says. He lays it out like a winning poker hand. “You believe in your friends. You believe they could beat me. And if they do, you could be saved.”
“And if I say no?” Steve asks.
Immediately, the pain comes pouring back, his vision going blurry, the colors fading from the world, his mouth filling once again with blood. His thoughts are slow and dripping. He groans and slumps forward, barely held up by the vines around him.
“Then I leave you like this,” Vecna says. “It won’t take long for you to die. Your friends will never know what happened to you, and I will spend as long as I need to working to get back to the other world without you. And I’ll have help, because your friends cannot keep the government from meddling once more. Every crack they make in the barrier between worlds is one I can exploit. I will get through some day. At least this way, you have a chance to stop me. You have a chance to live again.”
Steve breathes unsteadily and looks back down at his palm. He thinks about those tiny connections to people that he loves, and thinks about leaving them to fight this fight without him.
It’s stupid. He isn’t the person who should be making this deal. He knows that Vecna manipulates and twists to get what he wants. But his logic makes sense, too.
Steve doesn’t know what to do. He’s not the planner. He’s not the right one to choose this. He’s-
Two weeks. Robin, Dustin, Eddie, Erica, Max, Lucas, Eddie, Jon, Will, Mike, Eddie, Joyce, Claudia, Wayne, Tommy, Carol, his parents, Eddie- they all think he’s gone. He remembers how he felt when Hopper died. He can’t-
His jaw creaks when he opens his mouth.
“Fine,” he says, pain cracking his voice into something horrible, weak, pathetic. He sucks in another breath. “It’s a deal.”

Titanomachy art by Michel Giorgi
The Kickstarter for They Came From Beyond the Grave! finished up last week with a massive surge of pledges in the last three days. This enabled us to achieve several more Stretch Goals than we expected, which is definitely the best way to end up with a Kickstarter!
Thanks to everyone who backed and spread the word about the project!
Looking at the number of backers, in addition to the pledge amount, we are absolutely thrilled to see that this second game in the series surpassed our first game, They Came From Beneath the Sea!. We kind of thought going in that the subject matter might line up with the interests of large portions of our community, so if that’s why TCFBtG! did so well, that works for us!
It certainly looks like a third game in the series might come moseying down the trail…
But before we get to that new game, whatever it is, and its inevitable Kickstarter, here’s a reminder that next week on Thursday the 3rd we are starting the Kickstarter for Scion: Demigod! More on that next week as I give you the rundown on this latest core book for Scion and how its Kickstarter is going to be verrrry different than the KS for Scion: Origin and Scion: Hero!
Be there. Aloha! (As Steve McGarrett used to say in the 70s).
Titanomachy art by Felipe Gaona
I’m really thrilled to be able to reveal today that on Wednesday, in addition to our releases for sale, our Scarred Lands adventure The Gauntlet of Spiragos will go live as an offering on the Astral TableTop virtual tabletop venue!
This is thrilling for me for a couple of reasons.
First, as long-time MMN Blog readers know, I’ve been beating the drum for us to make more of our worlds available on the various VTT venues that folks use to play online with their friends for years.
Now that the idea of playing TTRPGs online has really caught on, and the tools to do so are getting better and better every day, it’s satisfying to see that my impulse to push in that direction is more and more considered a viable direction for us to put effort towards.
(There’s more info on Astral TableTop below in the Blurbs!).
It’s also thrilling for me because Gauntlet of Spiragos is an adventure I wrote because I had to do something creative in the TTRPG space while I was working on the late, lamented, WoD MMO.
Many a weekend I spent crouched over my laptop wresting with the writing and bouncing ideas off my housemates and my good buddy Aaron Voss. In fact, it was started during the onset of 4th Edition D&D, and edited into 5th Edition thanks to the keen eye and gaming knowledge of editor Scott Holden.
This was before Stewart Wieck and I bought the Scarred Lands IP from White Wolf, even. I just needed to create something that I could pull together without endless meetings and huge teams and giant budgets like the WoDMMO.
To see it now being reconfigured to work not as a book but as a VTT adventure is just amazing and I’m hoping that folks enjoy playing through it!
Terra Firma art by Shen Fei
Speaking of creating games, last Friday’s Onyx Pathcast featured Dixie, Eddy, and Matthew spinning the “wheel of game concepts” and creating game pitches on the fly. The birth of new game ideas, with the three of them rocking the cradle. I think they managed to pull together nine of them, and honestly, each one could make for a viable game – and some are real gems!
I think they’d love to hear which ones sound the best from folks listening, so please do check out last Friday’s Onyx Pathcast and drop them a comment as to which games you personally would be interested in playing.
Who knows, maybe they’ll convince me to green-light it!
Not so much a green light, but more in the lines of a blue light special, here’s just a reminder that the sale over at IPR on our 20th Anniversary Deluxe Editions and accessories is in its last week, and we are still participating in DTRPG‘s Cthulhoid sale for PDFs. Plus, I hear that we’ll be offering some sales on selected Scarred Lands PDFs over at DTRPG soon, as well.
I know sometimes it seems like I’m always pushing you to sales in this space, yet I do feel obligated since we actually do talk about business stuff in our Monday Meeting from which I derive these notes.
We do have fun and talk about the creative aspects of what we do AND necessarily we talk about schedules and sales and productivity and marketing and everything that goes on behind the scenes to make our:

Virtual TableTop!
Introducing a Virtual Tabletop adventure: the Gauntlet of Spiragos for Scarred Lands on Astral TableTop!
Scars of the Divine War, which ended less than 200 years ago, have still not healed. One such scar is the Chasm of Flies, a rent in the earth created when the titan Spiragos the Ambusher was smote down by one of the young gods, Vangal the Ravager. Now, the Chasm is inhabited by spider-eye goblins and their spider allies, but it is also thought to be the resting place of powerful artifacts from that elder age.
Gauntlet of Spiragos is a Scarred Lands adventure designed for 1st level characters, although it can be easily modified for characters of up to 5th level.
