#i love homestuck but i also fucking hate it because of how bad it became lol #it's been one of my major fixations for over a decade #and i will defend acts 1 - 4 with my fucking life i legitimately think they're great #and i still like A5A1 & A5A2 i just think A5A1 was too long and A5A2 left out too much lol #but yes act 6 is utter shit no you can't change my mind #there are things in act 6 i like hell caliborn is literally my favourite character he's fucking great #but overall it's just fucking awful #and when it is LITERALLY 60 - 70% of the entire comic yeah no i think it's reasonable to say that homestuck overall is shit because of that #also you can still fucking enjoy things that are bad you don't have to go and god-defend them #if anyone's insecure about their interests it's the people who piss and cry whenever you criticise the comic lmfao #and i'm not even ashamed i was a cringy homestuck teen i'll own that shit LOL #like yeah sure i was cringy and embarassing but ultimately i was just a kid having fun #i'm not 'embarrased' or 'ashamed' of that at all #homestuck was a major part of my life and it influenced both my writing and art so fucking much #hell it's the main reason why i'm making my own comic #also something i've noticed is that anyone on tumblr who says 'this rules acktually' tend to be really fucking annoying and #have the most shit takes LMAO #dax rambles
