so I definitely agree with most of this (with the addon that Synnove is probably going to borrow A'khebica's Carby to use his void storage metafold to smuggle out every single crate of Fedarloh Fulltouch Chalk in the whole of Old Sharlayan above everything else)...except Alakhai.

Alakhai is not a mom in any way, shape, or form. she is, at best, a variation on a vodka aunt. a knife aunt! quiet, unassuming, going to teach your children how to safely do balisong tricks. and how to dispose of a body.

she is also the living embodiment of this gif:

she is here to covertly egg on Synnove and Rere's shenanigans and pretend that a) she isn't, b) she isn't internally laughing like a hyena at them, and c) Heron's "I'm Not Mad, Just Disappointed" look doesn't work on her. her primary form of problem solving is "put my knives in someone's kidneys."

the order in which the Squad should be In Charge And Responsible: Heron > Synnove > Alakhai > Rere.
