i love robotics but it's so hard to find classes that actually, like,,, focus on actually building robots

#dont get me wrong! i enjoy programming and all that jazz #but my favorite part is actually CREATING the robot. making a body to run the code in. a physical creation. #ive completed the one and only hands-on robotics class available in my school system though and its frustrating #there IS an advanced robotics class. but you don't actually create robots. you just simulate them online. #the teacher for that class sucks too so it wouldn't be fun either way #id love to eventually get around to building my own robots but parts are so expensive #until then ill just make do with doing maintainence on pre-built bots. #i need to take apart one of my furbies soon to screw around with the speaker bc it's not functioning correctly. i love him as is and i - #- dont mind if he's permanently mute but i wanna see if i can at least find out what's going on with it #and i need to work on cleaning up some wire corrosion on another furby. its a big-ish project though so i haven't gotten around to it #i lost most of my tools back in 2020 and i have yet to replace them bc of money issues #sighhhhh. and i might need to jumpstart another furby. that's super easy though so its not gonna take long #sorry im rambling #im just thinking about furbies now lmao
