ive been under the impression that i’m Immune to lace rot because i physically can’t work with such small yarn or needles or hooks for more than a few minutes before my hands are dead

but the bobbin lace.... it’s been calling to me .......

#im less interested in making lacy shawls anyway but making edgings or inserts to sew onto other clothes ? yes please #and bobbin lace seems ideal for that .... and i have a ton of super thin yarn i will never use otherwise .... #heard you can do it with clothespins and blocking pins and a firm pillow ... i have all of those things... #i am also resolutely NOT doing that because i dont have time right now and i want to try tabletweaving #but also omg ... i need lace. i NEED lace that isnt the weird polyester shit they sell for 2.99$ at joanns #so yeah. i think im less immune to lace rot than i've been hoping #lace rot #chronic illness
