no hate or shame if u did bc i get it. but im just surprised how okay everyone was with making a threads and/or blue sky account

like jack and mark zuckerberg have been the main source of our global and political problems for well over a decade n ppl just ran back into their arms. like this is ur opportunity to leave them, and y’all keep going back.

id much rather take my chances on some of these indie and smaller” sure-to-fail” sites if it means im in my niche community. it harkens back to classic internet where everyone wasnt forced in a hole and u had to go find your people in a variety of unique spaces. im excited for it!

that being said im sure everyone making accounts on threads and bluesky are primarily a result of a fear of change but imma be so fr everyones gonna have to hurdle over that if we wanna have a decent time in this life on this internet
