Oh also ironically as much as I bitched about the Kanan retcon the episode had another retcon that I DID like that being Shaak Ti’s death.

#basically in season 6 when yoda had his freaky future vision in the dagobah cave #they showed shaak ti getting stabbed by a blue lightsaber implying that the deleted scene where anakin kills her was her canon death #and i thought that was dumb for two reasons #cause a) why would she just sit there meditating when the temple's being ransacked and not do shit when he just walks up and kills her #and b) they already established that she was in charge of overseeing clone training on kamino so why would she even be in the temple #but then again in old friends not forgotten they mentioned that she was protecting palpatine on coruscant like in the 2003 clone wars #so...hmmm #idk i guess she went to coruscant for whatever reason and grievous happened to attack while she was there #and then she went back to kamino after the battle #which is stretching it a bit but rots happens over the course of a few days so not impossible #yeah i'm overthinking this no i don't care #and as for contradicting yoda's vision...idk always in motion is the future many possible futures there are yadda yadda #anyway nice to know shaak ti still has way too many versions of her death glad we're keeping that tradition alive and well #bad batch spoilers #shut up tristan
