#mutuals look away I'm being lovey dovey #i'm saying liked in the past tense cuz I've done a good job of letting it go and need to stay in that headspace #I can't wait around for someone who barely knows I exist lol. we stay respecting ourselves #and also respecting others' boundaries. cuz he was communicative that he wasn't interested while being polite and I appreciated that #someday my crush on him will be a distant memory #and for sure I've needed time to really work through the grief of my whole high school sweetheart not loving me back. #cuz even though I felt something for him I was very hung up on her because I was still entertaining a friendship with her #and I hadn't worked through the insecurities n limiting beliefs that relationship left me with. my confidence is now so much better #and it would have been so unfair to drag someone new into my BS. what with the relationship baggage and daddy issues and ED #but I'm working very hard on recovery and I realize my own worth #I believe in my dreams now in a way I really didn't before #so all the heartache was worth it #I'm grateful for the growth #and I hope he's doing well #and idk maybe we'll reconnect someday
