how short/long do you like chapters in the fics you read? is there a minimum/maximum word count you look for or does it fluctuate with different stories and the delivery?

#li.txt #I like longer stuff but its not a necessity tho i am always excited for the longer ones #but also i know massive word counts can feel daunting #ive been reading a bunch of shorter stories that are like 1k words per chapter #and I say shorter cause like lets be real the fics we all swoon over nowadays that update regularly are 10k+ for each chapter #p sure one of my fave whalers-centric fic has a minimum of 20k per chapter #and a really good fic I read years ago was 35k words appx for each chapter #so I know its individual but Im curious about the tastes in this particular fandom at this time
