The problem with cooking is that, 50% of the time, when I'm in a position where I'm the one cooking, I have a very specific idea of what I want, but I can't find a recipe for it, and I'm not confident enough in my skills to make up a recipe. It's very frustrating.

#this brought to you by the fact that I WANT a spinach-sausage-pasta skillet dish for dinner #and I want it to be creamy but not super cheesy #but all the recipes I can find use italian sausage and I want smoked sausage #or else they don't include spinach #or they're cheesy instead of just creamy #and I haven't cooked with spinach since I graduated college #it's just a very frustrating situation #I'm probably going to end up just making a salmon burger so I can eat dinner on time #*grumble grumble grumble* #taleweaver speaks #taleweaver rants #food
