Week 34.6/52: August 21st - August 27th 2023 | Afternoon Tea 🍵

Went to La Duree afternoon tea with Shelly today at noon. Long time no Western style high tea!!! Last time was 2017 for me and I can understand why because it's always so sweet and filling and I can't finish LMAO. This set came with fruit salad with whipped cream (came with oranges, grapefruits, kiwis, mangoes etc... I love the cream but some of the fruits were way too sour), macarons (we chose 4 flavours - lemon, rose, pistachio, and orange blossom), mini scones with chives & salmon & cream cheese, two croissant sandwiches (salmon cucumber & ham+cheese), madeleines, tea of choice (I got the herbal tea with citrus), and a macaron raspberry cake for dessert. Big meal!! Got full after the fruit salad and macarons tbh HHHAHAHA. Overall a nice experience and of course the location is so good for photos :P hahahahaha. I mean food was good too, especially the macarons and cakes but it's just way too sweet >< !!! Think I can go another six years without going afternoon tea again LMAO.
