Tumgik
#also I should mention it is currently 6:27am
Note
it is currently 1:52am and i am very sleep deprived. and when i’m sleeping deprived i do stupid shit. so i’ve decided to update you on the fanfic im writing.
1:52am - 28 out of 56 lines, a total of 1014 words, and i have not mentioned the main love interest’s name once.
1:57am - i just remembered i have like 17 math assignments due today at midnight(not the one that just happened but the new one) will i do them? that’s a great question
2:03am - better than revenge just played on the album and i’m seriously considering writing another fic based on this song(i really love fleur but this fic sure won’t)
2:07am - just realized i should probably be working on edelweiss instead of something new
2:32am - writer’s block is very fun
3:07am - finally got out of the writers block. same number of lines, 1087 words total. still haven’t mentioned his name but you can almost tell who he is now.
3:09am - i feel like these two lines really sum up the fic: “my wet socks feel weird against the stage floor.” and “she dances and everything melts away.” very weird i know
3:15am - why the fuck does bill’s “bill as a prefect” photo on the wiki look like he just got done with a line
3:17am - currently debating whether or not i should make this an x reader or keep it as an oregon fic
3:20am - I THOUGHT THAT MC SAID SOMETHING MEMORABLE WHEN THEY MET HIM BUT NO IT WAS LITERALLY JUST “Did you get my owl?” LIKE WHAT THE FUCK MC YOURE MEETING SOMEONE YOU LOOK UP TO AND THE FIRST THINNG YOU SAY IS DID YOU GET MY OWL WHAT
3:41am - listening to taylor swift’s fearless album while i try to write this and mine and dear john just came on and fuuuuuuuck i wanna write an mc x ben fic
3:56am - 1161 words, same number of lines. he hates me, she hates me trope go brrrrrrrr
4:02am - 1205 words in total, 32 lines
4:09am - 1243 words, same number of lines, “if only i could talk to him. maybe things would get better.” “if only i could talk to her. maybe things would get better.” haha mutual pining go brrrrrr
4:24am - i have just realized that i may be projecting onto chiara
4:37am - word count has reached 1354, 35 out of 56 lines so far, ““““““““unrequited””””””””(mutual) pining has reached its peak
5:23am - 1581 words so far, 43 lines, the happy ending is getting closer lol
5:27am - word count is now at 1672 and the lines are now at 50! only 6 more to go but there’s still so much story left
5:32am - legit almost done with the story and you def know who the love interest is but his name has still not been mentioned once
5:36am - 1779 words in total, 56 out of 56 lines. story isn’t done yet though :/ one more scene to go
5:41am - the main love interest’s name has been mentioned
5:46am - kisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskisskiss
5:52am - done! the grand total coming to 56 lines, and 1952 words! should be published in the next ten hours.
I’m going through these one by one, and let me just say, you’re really teasing this mysterious love interest. Who are they, who are theyyy I must know!
You should do your assignments! Trust me, I know well the pain of trying to drag oneself though math, but it will only pile up more if you ignore it. That is also a type of pain I know well.
“I really love [Character] but this fic sure won’t.” Boy if that isn’t a whole ass writing mood right there.
Writer’s Block is the worst kind of block. I always envision it as a gigantic alphabet block standing in my way. Don’t ask why.
Those lines aren’t weird at all, they’re quite beautiful! You have a writer’s voice and those two lines alone prove it, so there.
The question of this being Oregon vs “x Reader” comes down to how much of Oregon originates from you. Example, Gail Fawley is about 25% me. Luca is more like 90%.
Ahh, but MC doesn’t look up to Bill though! To be specific, they’ve “never heard of him.” I see you Jam City, I see you going for that comedic irony. Doesn’t make sense, since Charlie is in their year, but oh well. It’s Rowan who idolizes Bill.
The more lines you pump out the more I am reminded that I need to work on my own fic. There is no excuse for Ch 12 taking this long. Well, I guess, holidays. But that’s about it.
You are making me very much want to know who the love interest is. Is it Bill? Charlie? Oh, I crave the knowledge!

[Discussion] Amendments to Rule 5 and Rule 6. Warning, this stuff gets pretty boring! via /r/whiskey
[Discussion] Amendments to Rule 5 and Rule 6. Warning, this stuff gets pretty boring!
Heyo peoples.
It is me, your rules, policy, and compliance moderator; here to talk about a very boring part of community management and moderation.
Since we hit 150K subs - we have seen a minor increase in the appearance of soft-serve advertising and aggregation/or 3rd party links appearing on the subreddit. To some, this may not seem like a problem or it may not be something you are concerned with or think much about when it comes to use of reddit. However, this is something that my little grey and shriveled heart is passionate about, as passionate as one such as myself can be.
We have always strived to curate content that treats whiskey as hobby. We see this little part of Reddit that we have carved out as a hobbyist community - rather than any sort of high-minded or professional whiskey forum. We want this space to be a welcoming sub to new hobbyists and old; where people can discuss either breaking into the whiskey hobby or their journey as a whiskey hobbyist throughout their years. In saying all this we have also taken small steps to stop others from using the subreddit as a community to drum up business, click farm or increase their traffic to 3rd party sites and use of 3rd party links. We don;t see the community as an "Audience on demand" for this type of behavior.
/r/whiskey is a free community (Bring your own whiskey, though) and we wish it to remain so, by not being overtaken by soft-serve advertising, shilling or affiliate content. We are already exposed to advertising in many forms through our consumption of media as a whole - and we wish to reduce that exposure here as best we can.
Let's review the rules (snooze! I know)
Rule 5. /r/whiskey is not a platform for free advertising. Spammy posts to your blog/vlog/business/website/etc... will be removed. More info here.
Under this rule, we have removed content that has been seen as soft-serve advertising. Whether it be as a picture of a collection that just happens to show a twitter or instagram link, or posts about news articles on breweries opening up (posted by the business itself) and even content that while showing good photography, provides affiliate links or redirects to 3rd party websites in the comments that drive user to business owned websites; within the comments. We also use this as a sub-set rule to hard remove Youtube content so that the subreddit is not used for click farming youtube accounts (and sometime subtly advertising youtube accounts through affiliate reddit accounts... it's a very deep hole!) Most of this content, you would never see as it goes straight into mod-queue.
We don't feel that many of these actions tried to engage the community, or promote any kind of discussion - but rather are primarily focused on clicks and just 'innocently' mentioning their business in every reply or giving the ol' "check out the recipe on our website" redirect... and of course the classic youtube post "my sister/brother started a whiskey channel, what do you guys think?" B.S.
Rule 6. No URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc).
URL shorteners can be used to hide affiliate links - as well as links that include data aggregation and user tracking. Some of these links that we have caught in our net include many 3rd part advertising links that pay commission for clicks. Something you may not be aware of, is that some affiliate links also contain tracking cookies that can persist on your computer for 30 days (the upper limit) and feedback data to these companies to serve advertising to you. It's a nasty web of little minded folk trying to use communities as an ad-farm or targeting your browser history to sell on to 3rd parties etc. etc.
To give an example - recently we removed a comment that whilst accurately telling the user where they obtained their glasses, provided 'RewardStyle' or 'rStyle' links to the said website, instead of direct links to the product or landing page. Reward style is a 3rd part commission based advertising platform that is used by many fashion bloggers and various minor eshops that provides ad revenue to people using self-created affiliate links. i.e the user had to open their rStyle account, create the link to the product and then use that link to gain ad revenue and essentially hand user a 30 day tracking advertising cookie into their browser. As we grow larger, we may be subjected to more targeting of advertisers and businesses who wish to use our community to simply gain clicks and further their business needs, rather than actually participate in the community.
We feel that it is time we reviewed these rules and make amendments that set about to create a stronger net in which to catch these things - primarily to reduce the exposure of our sub to adverting and/or marketing. Since we have reached 150K subs, we are seeing the frequency of this type of content slowly rise and as the community grows, it will make us a larger target for these types of activities.
Proposed Amendments:
Rule 5 - /r/whiskey is not a platform for free advertising. Spammy posts to your blog/vlog/business/website/Youtubeetc... will be removed. Posts that engage in "soft-serve" advertising will be removed and accounts flagged...More info [here]
Rule 5 will clearly outline that soft-serve advertising is part of the BIG NO - we will also be actively flagging accounts within moderator tools to track the activity within the subreddit - should they attempt to repeatedly use soft-serve tactics, they will be removed from community - accounts that as seen as in-tandem use as part of a wider net will be referred to the Admins for review, as part of the Content Policy surround vote manipulation and shilling. As an example, accounts that use repeated patterns of comments "wow! where did you get that", "that's Amazing, I need one, where can I find it!" typical response activity.
Rule 6 - No URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc) - No 3rd party affiliate links. All links submitted to /r/whiskey will be subjected to moderator review.
We are considering creating a larger net to catch these links posted on our sub - one of the step would be to have autmoderator flag/report links posted in /r/whiskey so that we can view them from the modqueue and double check that everything is above board. This was chosen as our preferred method over Automod removing links for approval - as it may seem like more of a punishment to have you comment or post removed into modqueue awaiting approval - rather than have retro-active moderation. The current rules within Automoderator to remove content using URL shorteners and targeted 3rd part affiliate sites that have been identified, will still remain.
We have always encouraged users to see things through their preferred trusted retailer or eshop. We have also been fine with people directing users to landing pages, such as simple domains – in instances such that people need help to find legal alcohol retailers in their area - which is fine as well. What we are looking to capture is redirects and trends where users are promoting or using affiliate links to push products. For example - in the UK you can buy alcohol off Amazon, however we are careful when dealing with these links as Amazon also deals with 3rd part retailers and accounts can be used to promote a 3rd part service through Amazon... so investigating these types of links is part of the why we are having a sweep net for links.
If you have gotten this far - my thanks for reading about all this boring stuff. We want to engage the community on feedback and idea regarding most rule changes - This is an opportunity to give your thoughts and feeling towards how some businesses and 3rd parties interact with the subreddit. It helps us gauge how far to push some lines and where to pull back. There are some kinds of posts that we don't mind too much - such as people who are more into the photography side that appeals to 'bottle porn', but with a deft hand when it comes to advertising socials and such.
So... if you'd like to give feedback and discuss some of these changes, or get clarification on the type of things we're trying to catch in the net, or do not allow - or more information about soft-serve advertising and how we combat it. Feel free to leave a comment. If you feel that you have feedback, but don't wish to be public about it - you can always send up modmail and we can discuss your concerns, ideas or feedback in a more 1-on-1 setting.
Thanks for reading.

time check: it’s currently 2:45AM and i just thought i should write something before i head to bed hahaha!
i’m not sure if i have to go to akmal’s graduation later cus idk if rayhan has already booked out or not but we will see later. hopefully i can finish typing before 330AM at least!
so today was a rather happy day!!!
i honestly felt really happy haha idk why but han was being so clingy and affectionate today i absolutely love it!! 🥰
around 3+, he texted me asking if i wanted to come over to his place and i actually had some grocery shopping planned but i decided to push it to another day so i can spend this day with him since this doesn’t happen everyday. then around 4+ he messaged me asking me if i know that he’s gonna be fetching me and i was like whaaaatttt??? ofc i didn’t know that la since he didn’t mention it beforehand but thank goodness i already showered, just had to prepare. i initially thought of going to his workplace to fetch him then go to his place together after that but since he said he was fetching me i took my own sweet time to prep hahahaha and then this bobo asked me if i can fry food for him lol 🙄 lucky for him the fridge has some frozen spicy nuggets and then my dad asked me to fry all the samosas since there were only 6 left so i did!
i didn’t know how many nuggets i should fry so i just went with the standard 6 and then added in 1 of the samosa to make lucky number 7 HAHAHA LOLLLLL. by the time he came, the food were already cold hahah but he still ended up eating it anyway cus he was really hungry and hadn’t had anything to eat for the whole day. his excuse? no time 🙄 seriously.... nak kene debik??? no time then must make time even if it’s 15 minutes, still have to eat something!!! cannot go back to your bad irregular eating habits of eating one meal per day!!! but ya so anyway, he drove on for quite a while to go back to the company and we managed to catch the sunset together. it was very beautiful i love watching the sunset and sunrise but if i have to pick one, i’ll pick sunsets cus the atmosphere is not as humid at night hehe 😛
han was being very affectionate in the van and lol i know mentioning this will probably make him do it less just to spite me 🙄 but i seriously love it when he’s all clingy and shooting all these cupid arrows directly to my heart hahahahah like i just instantly go all melty and warm i love itttttt 😍 and then when we reached the company, i really badly had to pee so he let me in and i felt so fucking relieved sia hahah cus i’ve actually been holding it ever since i left the house. i know i know.... why didn’t i go and pee before leaving the house??? well i wanted to but then i didn’t feel like it until after getting into the van and i didn’t want to make him wait so i just tahan all the way hahahahaha oh and did i mentioned that be cracked one super lame joke lol..... he asked what’s the diff between air and wind and i thought he was asking for real??? i didn’t know it was a nonsense quiz 🙄 but apparently the answer was - air is from the mouth, wind is from the butt. or something like that LOL lame la hahaha take the L bb!!!!
then after that we walked to the bus stop, and then took the bus to admiralty. i have to say, i really like it when han puts his hand around my waist. granted, i don’t have the nicest or smallest waist cus i have fats all around it but it still felt really nice to be held there. tbh, i used to not like that feeling cus i felt like it’s so weird?? sometimes i see couples doing it and i thought, how the hell are they walking with the hand around the waist???? but it actually felt really comfortable for some reason hahaha so ya i rly like it pls do it more often bb hehe 😚
then we had like some debatacle about the human organs and then he asked me which is the largest/longest organ of the human body. and i know what’s the largest cus it’s the skin. i watched this science video before and they mentioned it but he said no, it’s the brain. so i was like ????? what???? then i googled and turns out it’s the skin LOOOOLLLL and as for longest, i think it’s the liver. HAHAHAHA BOBO SIA THIS HAN but i still love you ok haha i love all your silliness and lameness 😘❤️ then we went to chateraise hehe and i got mochi as per usual and i decided to try one of their waffle looking ice cream yogurt. it tasted like coconut to me, han said it’s not bad. but he doesn’t rly like ice cream cus of the coldness to his sensitive teeth. so in general, eating ice cream is something rather rare since it hurts his teeth.
after that, we took the train and went to his area. i bought happy meal!!! cus i want to collect all the toys hehe and for the first one i decided to get the pikachu just in case it get sold out since pikachu seems to be one of the more popular pokémon. then i felt like the happy meal wasn’t gonna be enough cus well it’s basically just a kids meal - 4 nuggets and fries so i thought of getting something else to eat from kfc. but i felt like so muak liddat cus i can literally always get kfc anytime since there’s one at my area. so i told han that i’ll be getting some carrot cake maybe at encik tan but when i go there idk why but the picture looks kinda unappetitizing suddenly so i walked around the basement and finally settled for bread hahaah yaaaa i didn’t wanna eat carbs but i still got carbs in the end lol but guess what i didn’t even touched it and it’s now sitting in my room. i’ll prolly eat it tomorrow for breakfast hahaha! ok then after all that, we walked back to his place!!! i greeted his dad and then we sat in the living room. initially i wanted to go to his room and sit there but i saw his bro watching fortnite so i decided to stay and watched too and then watched both of them played a couple games of warfare and fortnite and fifa while simultaneously watching the series i’m currently watching on netflix - sabrina’s chilling adventures. i downloaded a few eps before meeting han just in case.
then han played a round of csgo i think on his pc and then i told him i was gonna go home hahahaha like i just wanted to see his reaction la tbh and he’s just so cute wtheck then after his game was over he came back and sat at the living room area and then we decided to watch the kissing booth which was on netflix hahaha and this bobo ah rly. i asked him if he watched before then he hesitated to answer but i knew he watched before cus he did sorta mentioned it once?? so i asked him why u watch again? then he said, cus u haven’t watch. then he smiled 😁 what a bobo!!!!! but ya we ended up watching till the end, somewhat. cus my driver came already and i had to leave. yeahhhh i had no choice but to book before 1am cus grab takes away hitch from 1-5am and hitch is rly the much cheaper option!!! and all those while i could tell han was alr rly tired and worn out but he kept fighting sleep. his eyes were red and he kept rubbing them lol all those are signs of sleepiness but he still kept fighting them off hahahaha silly bb. and he still managed to send me off all the way downstairs and kissed and hugged my goodbye in the lift before we go. also i think it was the first time(?) he actually said, see u tomorrow to me cus yeah haha we’re actually gonna meet again tomorrow it’s our weekly dating day hehe. i can’t wait to see his stinking cute face later and spend the whole sat and morning of sun with him laterz hehe.
ok time check: 3:27AM!! i managed to stay before my deadline timing for this post. goodnight world!

The Rockets and Clippers had a locker room fight. Here’s everything that went down.
Several Houston players, including Chris Paul, “charged” the Los Angeles locker room to confront Austin Rivers.
Late Monday evening, the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Clippers finished a basketball game. Soon afterward, began the evening’s real entertainment.
Several Rockets players, upset at Austin Rivers and Blake Griffin, approached the Clippers locker room with intentions of confronting them, with varying degrees of success, depending on which report you believe.
The post-game fiasco reached Twitter’s flash point in moments, igniting the social media app with reactions, joke, and occasionally reports from what actually went down in the locker room. Look, if you missed those couple hours, I’m sorry. It was the closest thing we’ve seen to sheer Twitter pandemonium since the DeAndre Jordan emoji “hostage situation.” It was magical.
Here’s what happened, as best as we currently understand it.
The Clippers beat the Rockets in CP3’s return
After six seasons in Los Angeles, Chris Paul made damn sure that his return was memorable. All the usual homecoming moments were present early on — some cheers, some boos, a video tribute — but that quickly gave way to absurdity with 3:42 left in the game. To summarize:
Things got heated in CP3's return to LA. http://pic.twitter.com/XmM5YvLAeU
— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) January 16, 2018
Wesley Johnson’s probable goaltend on an Eric Gordon layup went uncalled
Blake Griffin was given a generous continuation call, and-one, on a layup over Chris Paul on the very next play
Two minutes later, Griffin spiked the basketball off Gordon’s back while falling out of bounds
An ensuing skirmish led to Ariza and Griffin both being ejected with technical fouls
Mike D’Antoni was mad Griffin ran into him
It apparently happened on this play.
Here's the play where Blake Griffin went right at D'Antoni on the way up the court, going out of bounds to bump him. D'Antoni complains about it immediately. http://pic.twitter.com/dwZeRJlxmv
— ClutchFans (@clutchfans) January 16, 2018
He mentioned it in vague terms after the game.
D'Antoni said Griffin hit him before their exchange. Did not elaborate.
— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) January 16, 2018
Austin Rivers wouldn’t stop talking s***
You can see a great look at it here.
Here's Austin Rivers in a boot yappin at Trevor Ariza http://pic.twitter.com/iidZrWq1cg
— Aaron Bruski (@aaronbruski) January 16, 2018
Rivers, you may note, is in street clothes and wearing a walking boot due to an Achilles strain.
We’ve all wanted to punch the coach’s son. Let’s be honest Austin Rivers is the perfect manifestation of that childhood desire.
— Anthony F. Irwin (@AnthonyIrwinLA) January 16, 2018
That sums it up.
The very first report was a Rockets fight
This has been long since glossed over, but the first word from the NBA locker room was that James Harden had tried to calm down an angry Chris Paul, and that the two had gotten into a fight. That was not what actually happened.
Chris Paul on reports that he had a confrontation with James Harden in the locker room: "That's Donald Trump fake news." With a laugh, he added, "Tell him I'm looking for him!"
— Tim MacMahon (@espn_macmahon) January 16, 2018
Somehow, this is about the 17th most ridiculous thing that transpired this evening.
Actually, Ariza charged the Clippers’ locker room
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Ariza was the foremost aggressor, bringing teammates Paul, Harden, and Gerald Green with him. (It appears that Tarik Black was not involved, despite one initial report claiming he came with that group.) From ESPN:
Stunned Clippers players, celebrating a 113-102 victory, leaped to their feet upon the realization that four seething Rockets players had come calling for them, sources told ESPN.
For a few fleeting moments, several Clippers dared the Rockets to come farther into the room, sources said. Security and team officials soon converged on the Rockets, pushing them out the door and back toward the visiting locker room, sources said. Ariza was described as the first one through the door, with Paul lingering in the back, witnesses told ESPN.
If Ariza physically entered the locker room, it was brief, and regardless, the encounter was purely verbal. But it makes sense — Ariza pulled a nearly identical move last season with Houston.
Police were called and ‘Inside the NBA’ reacted
There has never been a news story created for ‘Inside the NBA’ quick like this one. Look, briefly imagine how you think Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley might react to a story like this one. Yes, you’re right. What’s in your head right now is spot on.
Shaq & Charles hashing the Clippers/Rockets locker room stuff had me dyyyying “Police! This is Blake Griffin. I’m at the Staples Center. I am 6-10, 220 and one of the most powerful players in the NBA. Chris Paul is trying to kick my ass. Get down here quick!” -Chuck http://pic.twitter.com/PmtGiDKMBa
— Tamara Jolee (@TamaraJolee) January 16, 2018
To quote Barkley:
“Police! This is Blake Griffin. I’m at the Staples Center. I am 6-10, 220 and one of the most powerful players in the NBA. Chris Paul is trying to kick my ass. Get down here quick!”
It was revealed the Rockets used a “secret passage”
Sure, factual reporting revealed that there was nothing “secret” about the tunnel that connected the two locker rooms underneath Staples Center, but Twitter quickly latched onto a secret tunnel joke and didn’t let up. (Wojnarowski’s typo, “backstory,” should read “back door.”)
Rockets players were clamoring for Blake Griffin too, league sources said. Chris Paul also entered with other Rockers players through a backstory that connects team dressing rooms. https://t.co/BRgyHe1WgL
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) January 16, 2018
The mental image of Paul, a Clipper for the past six seasons, knowing a secret entrance to his old team’s locker room, and then leading his new team on an excursion through said entrance to confront his former coach’s son for talking shit, is just too beautiful to pass up.
"Everybody know the plan?"
A post shared by Sports Blog Nation (@sbnation) on Jan 16, 2018 at 12:27am PST
Twitter users were interested before, but this elevated the entire situation to something else entirely.
cp3 snuck his teammates through a secret tunnel so they could go fight austin rivers over a regular season game lmao the nba rules
— jack (@jackhaveitall) January 16, 2018
CORRECTION: Chris Paul hid in a dining cart as Trevor Ariza, wearing a security uniform and fake mustache, wheeled him into the Clippers locker room

The Rockets in the back alleyway heading to the clips locker room http://pic.twitter.com/F416o8XitJ
— Carter Rodríguez (@Carter_Shade) January 16, 2018
And then it got even better, because ...
Clint Capela acted as a diversion
The Rockets center reportedly knocked on the front door of the Clippers locker room while Houston’s other group, the one with Paul and Ariza, flanked them. Paul’s such a floor general that he literally drew up a war plan for Houston’s charge on Los Angeles.
This whole thing is a testament to Chris Paul’s leadership that in 5 minutes, immediately after a game ended, he planned an intricate attack strategy complete with a diversion, a secret tunnel and a pincer maneuver to get his hands on Austin Rivers. Bravo!

Footage of Clint Capela approaching the Clippers’ locker room: http://pic.twitter.com/V0HFU5G3yc
— Fred Katz (@FredKatz) January 16, 2018
Reportedly, a Clippers staff member opened the door, saw it was Capela, and shut it on him. Capela “lingered around” before returning to the Rockets locker room, unsure what else to do.
Chris Paul did land one punch
It was Paul’s in a post-game interview, where he said Los Angeles should play through their go-to guy, Lou Williams.
Chris Paul says the Clippers should play through their 'go-to guy' Lou Williams. http://pic.twitter.com/RNqf2ZKrXR
— Def Pen Hoops (@DefPenHoops) January 16, 2018
“They got Lou Will. Lou Will is the guy, you know what I mean? That’s the go-to guy. That’s the guy they should play through and stuff like that. He’s having a great year, and he’s tough. He’s tough, man.”
There was purposefully no mention of Blake Griffin, and that nicely sums up the quickly deteriorated relationship between the two former costars.
Blake Griffin got the last laugh, for now
At midnight local time, he shot off this tweet.
http://pic.twitter.com/BNAcs1Hfjh
— Blake Griffin (@blakegriffin32) January 16, 2018
Griffin was ejected, but he won’t be suspended for this nonsense, not unless the NBA’s investigation turns up something else. It seems likely that Ariza at least, and possibly Harden, Paul, and Green, will be banned for a game or two. They were the ones who attempted to enter another team’s locker room with the sole purpose of instigating, which is simply unheard of.
Other members off both teams got off similar tweets.
It’s a different culture in LA. No more soft shit here!!!!!
— Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) January 16, 2018
Still putting on his shoes http://pic.twitter.com/mj9vS9cwCn
— Daryl Morey (@dmorey) January 16, 2018
We assume Morey is making a multi-layered reference to a famous Mark Twain quote.
Rockets-Clippers officially, undeniably have beef
The two teams play again on Feb. 28 and March 15, and they are well aware of that.
3/3 I spoke w member of Rockets who said "we didn't like their attitude. We are together. We'll see them 2 more times. We'll remember that". And added they definitely rallied around Chris Paul to have his back.
— Rosalyn Gold-Onwude (@ROSGO21) January 16, 2018
We should also note that Los Angeles and Houston would currently be a first round series — Houston with the No. 2 seed, and the Clippers climbing to No. 7.
Please let us have that.
