As someone who lives in Rainier, WA, I can say that not only is Mt. Rainier is a very attainable goal (people come through here fucking DAILY) but that the two most common reasons people do it are "I know someone who did it" or "someone told me I couldn't and/or shouldn't do it" and now you got both! You climb that mountain! And if you wanna say you did it for Sidney Crosby, even though it makes no sense, it will simply make it cooler. Also, shout out to your uncle, third times the charm, my dude.

he had double hip replacement surgery just last year, so I don't know if it's in the cards for him anymore! Though I was really impressed with how well he did on the trail we did (sunrise) so... never say never, right?
