Avalant Launched Digital Maker Platform on Cloud

Avalant launches the “Digital Maker Platform” on cloud. To drive "Maker Generation" era and help reduce cost/time in developing new highly competitive business services, Avalant introduces ONEWEB’s new feature, AppSpace, with the goal to expand the medium-sized enterprise market, SMEs and startup groups which will contribute 200 percent growth sector this year. Mr. Akarapol Bunworaset, Managing Director of Avalant Co., Ltd., the leading software and digital solution provider in Thailand, the first Thai company to receive world-class standards CMMI Level 5, said that Gartner's data shows business direction and trend heading towards the cloud and “Low Code”, the new approach in software development through visualization and modeling with less coding. This trend results in the growth of cloud-based services in the form of aPaas (application platform as a service) and iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) in line with market demand. By 2021, cloud-based software will grow at 59 percent, while software running on traditional data center will decline 2.6 percent. In addition, By 2024, there are predictions that 65 percent of applications will be developed with Low Code or No Code platform. Today, both government and business sector have crossed the digital transformation era, and now entering the Make Generation. This is an era where every organization must launch innovation quickly and efficiently. To complete in disruptive environment, “Makers” in each organization must acquire the ability to develop innovation themselves using agile, flexible and complete development platform. This quarter, the company launches Digital Maker Platform on the cloud, which is suitable for all business groups from the enterprise level, medium and small organizations and startups. Avalant also introduces ONEWEB platform’s features, “AppSpace” that help automate development and deployment of software through CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) style. AppSpace helps makers build applications quickly and easily. AppSpace provides capability to automate the process of software configuration and deployment, and reduce software management effort on cloud by 6 times. This leads to the development of maker ecosystem to promote new technological innovations in various sectors including banking, insurance, industries, healthcare, retail business, government and state enterprises. In addition to expand existing customer base in corporate enterprise, AppSpace targets medium-sized customers, SMEs and startups as well. "We are confident that "ONEWEB" can address the shortage of highly technical resources. Developing in-house technical skills takes time and incurs significant cost to organizations. The new cloud offerings are important in driving growth and expanding company's customer base this year. Medium-sized enterprise customers, SMEs and startups can leverage ONEWEB for their cloud initiatives. We expect this new and exciting sector will grow 200 percent this year. Most of our existing customer bases are the large enterprise group which contribute of 80 percent our business now. With this new cloud offering, the new sector will contribute to overall growth of 20 percent next year.
