Prom 2k16 Chatzy Log
(or at least some of it since there was so much!)
Ace/Pandora: Pandora knew she was lucky to have, despite her latest dark days having found a true friend in Kathryn. There was this mutual understanding between them, the sense that the other knew how loss and pain and the lure of the darkness felt like. To have that kind of friend was invaluable, and she was thrilled to know Kathryn was going to stay in New York even thought she was graduating. "Yeah I think Trevor is out with some friends from Uni. Such social boys we live with. But thats nice, that he's saving you a dance." Pan nodded a little with a soft smile. She hadn't been sure she was going tonight but, a lot of her friends were graduating, so it would be stupid and somewhat selfish not to be here. "There is gossip? What? Spill!" The brunette was intrigued.
Harmony/Kathryn "Yes, it is such a, ummmm, struggle... I mean, how do we ever live having a whole apartment to, ahhh, ourselves." She replied with a chuckle. Although, in reality it was always weird being at Charles' place without him there. She often ended up feeling lonely, and tried to nap or something until he came home. Even if she'd been living there for months, it still seemed like she was a guest in someone else's life. "Well, first off I got the, ummmm, latest details about Connor's engagement, and ahhh, there is some new gossip about how Whitney has been..." Kathryn began, only to be interrupted by a loud banging sound. Looking around confused, she tried to find the source of the noise. "What was that?"
Ace/Pandora: "I feel for us I really do. What are we going to do with ourselves?" She teased back with a small grin. It was weird how fast Trevor's apartment had started to feel like home. It wasn't big, but it was for sure bigger than her dorm room. It was a real change for her, not feeling so shut in. But now that school was out and she had little to occupy herself she had developed a real Tv series addiction, mainly to pass the time. "You didn't know either! Harmony was so shocked I didn't know. Apparently I have lived under a rock.. Whitney? Is she-" Pandora said, cutting herself off when this loud sound came, from the right she thought. "From over there I think? We should check it out." Taking a few steps she waited for Kath to follow.
Harmony/Kathryn "I am, ummmm, usually pretty out of the loop." Kathryn replied, not too shocked she didn't know all the details. She nodded slightly at Pandora, thankful for the other girl's presence. She didn't know what was going on, but at least she wasn't going to be dealing with it alone. "I, ummmm, guess so...In case something is, ahhh, wrong...Like a piece for the, ummmm, building is falling off ro something..." She replied, starting to follow Pandora to the corner of the building. As she rounded the corner, Kathryn spotted a large dark shape several feet in front of them. Walking closer she realized it was a human shape. "Pandora..." She said, unable for any other words to come out of her mouth as she looked at the body in shock.
Ace/Pandora: "Yeah, but thats not hard when you're not living on campus.. Or is friends with the Queen Bee's. I mean I know Harmony is one of them but she's far too nice to really be a super-queen." Pandora pointed out with a small shrug. Both Connor and Harmony had been great friends to her and she couldn't be happier for them, getting hitched, even if a lot of others was going to say it was far too early. Her brows furrowed, a little suspicious. What if someone had just thrown something off the roof? Couldn't be that serious. "Its probably just some douche throwing shit of the roof." She suggested. Walking around the corner Pandora started feeling slightly cold inside. Her eyes set on the shape on the ground, trailing the pool of deep red liquid that seeped around the human lying there.. "Its..." She begun, not able to finish. Reaching out carefully she felt for the person's neck. No pulse.. "Oh fuck.. she's dead." Pandora said, her words barley a whisper as she quickly drew back.
Harmony/Kathryn The longer that the two girls stood there looking at the body, the more Kathryn began to shake. She walked as Pandora took the girl's pulse and prayed for a miracle. Although, judging by the amount of blood on the ground she knew there wasn't a good chance that this girl was still alive. As Pandora spook, Kathryn's fear was only confirmed. She opened her mouth to speak, but the only sound that came out was a scream. Kathryn was terrified, and suddenly everything was going fuzzy. She began seeing spots, and suddenly everything went black. Kathryn passed out.
Connor/Aleksi/Elliot was a little overwhelmed by the crowd at the prom, and disappointed that he hadn't seen Sydney yet, so he stepped outside to take a break from the noise and people everywhere. He was still tense sometimes when there were too many people around to really keep track of who was there and where they were, especially when his friends weren't around to distract him. He had only been outside a few seconds when he heard a scream and quickly ran towards the found, freezing for a moment at the sight he found, Heather on the ground in a pool of blood and Kathryn on the ground beside her with Pandora the only conscious one between them. He looked up at Pandora, eyes wide, "Is ... is Heather dead? What happened? Is Kathryn okay?" he asked.
Ace/Pandora: Ice was spreading trough her veins like liquid, rushing trough and piercing her insides. Pandora wanted to run. More than anything she jut wanted to get away. Now. But as Kathryn screamed she stepped to comfort her friend, meaning to spin them both around so they could not see the dead body. However as she touched Kathryn's arm the girl went limp, and Pandora hurried to catch her before she hit the ground, crouching down herself to cradle her friends head in her lap. She had no idea how long she'd been sitting like this until Alek appeared, asking a bunch of questions. "She's.. yeah. There was a.. sound.. think she fell." Pan managed, her words clipped her voice faint. "Kathryn passed out." She could hear the brunette breathing, which was a good sign. "She'll come to. Should probably get her some.. water."
Cordelia was sitting around, doing nothing but enjoying the prom of her fellow classmates. The night had been dull but she knew something was bound to happen. She knew it had to. Taking out her phone, Cordelia texted Juliet, wondering where the girl was. WHERE R U?
Connor/Aleksi/Elliot Aleksi let out a shaky breath, running a hand through his hair as he tried to force himself to stay call. He could freak out later, but right now he couldn't not afford to end up in a corner having a panic attack. "Okay, okay. We need ... we need to get a teacher. Heather's ... we need an adult, and they need to call the police." he said carefully before letting out taking in a deep breath. "I think I saw Ace, um ... I can go get him? Try to bring some water back for Kathryn. Can you, can you stay with them?" he asked Pandora.
Juliet/Davey JULIET Was sitting at a table, watching her peers as some fell over the music and while some snuck subtle kisses. Pulling out her phone she saw a message from cordelia. [ < BORED out of my god damn mind > ]
Ace/Pandora: Pandora wanted to stop staring, at the body, at the blood, but she couldn't. It was like her gaze was frozen on the scene, refusing to look away. She could faintly hear Alek talking but without being fully able to answer him she managed to carefully nod her head. Then she realized he was asking her something again. "Huh? S-Sure, I'll stay.." She mumbled, tearing her gaze away from the scene to meet Alek's gaze for just a short minute.
Cordelia rolled her eyes, considering she hoped she would get some info on what had happened a few hours ago. Standing up from her chair, leaving Davey behind, Cordelia stepped outside of the grand ballroom only to be greeted by people surrounding something on the floor. "What the fuck?" she instantly asked, waiting for someone to answer her.
Connor/Aleksi/Elliot nodded, and looked back over at Heather's body, barely able to believe that someone he had known for a year was really lying dead in front of him. He didn't even realize he had been biting hip lip until he tasted blood and quickly stopped, "I'll - I'll be right back!" he told her before turning and rushing back into the dance, "Ace!" he called frantically, "Ace!"
Connor/Aleksi/Elliot Aleksi nodded, and looked back over at Heather's body, barely able to believe that someone he had known for a year was really lying dead in front of him. He didn't even realize he had been biting hip lip until he tasted blood and quickly stopped, "I'll - I'll be right back!" he told her before turning around and coming face-to-face with Cordelia, who had apparently just walked into the scene. He swallowed before speaking, trying to remain calm, "Heather's ... Heather's dead. Pandora says she and Kathryn, they heard something and then they found her, and Kathryn fainted. They think Heather fell ... we need to get a teacher. I know Ace is just inside, I was going to get him."
Juliet/Davey JULIET went to go watch Cordelia scream at someone. It was going to be way more entertaining than whatever was going inside. Following the blonde, she saw people surrounded by two bodies. "What the fuck," she said before standing next to Cordelia. "Who the – Well someone fucking do something!"
Cordelia didn't feel anything for the scene in front of her, but it did bring excitement to her. Her mind was twisted and all she liked was that there was going to be something else to talk about other than what happened to her. Before Cordelia could react, Alek approached her and spoke, but she didn't pay much attention. Seconds later, Juliet appeared and she took her in, weighing in how she would react. "I'll go get a teacher, you carry the body with life inside," she told Juliet.
Juliet/Davey looked astonished at the mess that was going on. "What the – God, fine." she said picking up the limb girl up by her shoulders, her body dragging her down. "Can someone fucking help me," she said snapping over to a boy near Cordelia, "Hey you, help me with her, will you?"
Ace/Pandora: ACE: He wasn't really paying much attention to the room stretching out before him. Ace sighed a little. Poppy was in the bathroom and he was utterly bored. Should have brought some booze to this thing.
Aleksi nodded quickly, relieved that someone else was taking charge and quickly moved over to help pick Kathryn up. "Yeah, yeah, I have her." he said quickly, glad to be able to focus on the friend who was alive for the moment and not the classmate that was dead. "Let's get her inside."
Cordelia walked inside but with little rush. She made her way through the crowd and once she got closer, she started to act on the panic she knew she was supposed to feel but just... Didn't. "Mr. Hawkins!" Cordelia cried to the man. She grabbed his arm and clung to him dramatically and desperately. "There's something horrible going on outside. WE NEED TO GO NOW!"
Ace/Pandora: PANDORA looked down at her friend finally, a little jealous of her right now. Her body was protecting her from the shock and all the shit going on and she would have been glad to be out like a light too. The space around her was getting crowded and buzzed with voices, but it didn't matter. As she was suddenly showed out of the way she cried out. "HEY!" Staring annoyed at the person, even more so when she recognized her, the brunette scoffed. "Be careful with her.." There didn't seem like she could help lift as they were standing right now. She walked beside Alek as they moved.
Ace/Pandora: ACE heard his name being called out and let his gaze swipe the room to see who was calling him. As one of the blonde girls approached him, grabbing his arm, he raised his brows in confusion. "What is going on? Outside? Okay. Okay." He carefully held a little on to Cordelia, her name came back to him as he briefly studied her features, then moved with her down the hall. "What did you see Cordelia?"
Juliet rolled her eyes, almost wanting to fight back. But even she was above it right now. "Calm down, I'm trying to help her while you just kept her on the god damn floor. We need to get her sitting up with some towels and water," she said as they all hauled the tall girl in the building. Juliet looked around for a chair something to prop her up with before spotting one. "Over there," she nodded before taking the lead. "Okay, Pandora, go get some towels. Now. .
Aleksi sighed, "Look, I don't even think it had been two minutes before you showed up, Pandora was just going to sit with Kathryn while I got help." he defended as they moved her inside, heading towards a chair with her. "Have you seen Charles? I know their close, it might be good to have him around when wakes up." he said.
Cordelia held on to him for dramatic effect as they moved outside. "There was a dead body on the floor!" She all but screamed, letting everyone know what was going on. Stares were already making their way to Ace and herself, and it was exactly what she needed. "Someone died!"
Ace/Pandora: PANDORA knew it was petty but she could not believe she and Juliet kept being thrown in together, which was incredibly annoying as they could never get along. But the important thing was making sure her friend was alright so Pan decided to ignore her pettiness and do her best. "She fell, we were a little busy discovering a dead girl.." She shot back, but not as harshly as she would have usually. Towels, right. "I'll be right back." She said, jogging down the hall, lifting her dress as not to trip, pulling lots of paper towels as soon as she arrived at the ladies room, wetting a bunch of them and then jogging back. Standing by Kathryn she pressed a couple against her forehead and cheeks, hoping it would wake her up.
Ace/Pandora: ACE felt his pulse rise. He was not the type to become overly distressed but Cordelia seemed wildly out of sorts and she was usually so calm that it was hard not to make assumptions. "A body?" He asked stupidly, very confused. As they stepped outside his eyes went straight to the scene before him. "Oh my god. What happened? Did she jump? Fuck guys."
Aleksi knelt next to Kathryn as Pandora pressed the wet towels against her face, "Hey, Kathryn. Come on, wake up." he said gently, he didn't like how long she had been out for. He'd be a lot less nervous once he at least confirmed that she was okay. This was all such a nightmare.
Juliet shot Pandora some daggers with her blue eyes. She knew that she was taking charge, but for god's sake, it wasn't that hard. Propping the girls head up with a pillow from one of the chairs she looked at the girls friends. "Okay, you," she said pointing at Aleksi, "You need to calm her down when she wakes up. If she passed out after seeing a dead body, being reminded of it is gonna trigger her. So just... Keep her calm... Cold towels and blankets. We need a fucking blanket."
Ace/Pandora: Pandora ignored Juliet's stares. She didn't care about her right now, all she cared about was that Kathryn would be okay. But it was kind of amusing how the only one present who didn't know Kath was taking charge like she knew better than everyone else. "His name is Alek." Her voice was hard, shooting Alek a softer glance, thanking him for defending her earlier. "Then why don't you get the damn blanket? We know her, we can keep her calm.." Getting Charles would probably have been preferable but she couldn't spot him anywhere, and she was not leaving Kathryn twice.
Aleksi privately agreed with Pandora that Juliet should be the one to get the blanket, "I will. I think Pandora and I can calm her down better then you. Pandora's her friend, and she's my roommate. It's best if we stay with her." he said softly before returning his attention to Kathryn. "Come on, Kathryn, wake up for us. It's okay." he said gently.
Eliza.J: Eliza emerged from the double doors, hair dripping from water mixed with sweat. She was shivering, even though it wasn't cold. "I saw it," she rasped. "I just heard something heavy fall down and- and I just ran. I saw a figure, but the face wasn't clear," she looked up at them. She'd never witnessed anyone die before.
Harmony/Kathryn Kathryn started to stur. Her head was thrubbing, and she was very confused. She had no idea what was going on, the last thing she remembered was being outside with Pandora. Judging by the noise around her, she figured that she was no longer outside. Now all she need to do was figure out what was going on. Her eyes felt heavy, and she had to fight with them. After a moment, Kathryn opened her eyes and looked around confused.
Juliet rolled her eyes and proceeded to find a closet that was open and just found more dry towels. Figures. She kept scoffing at the two people that were actually just doing nothing in the situation. She knew what to do, it wasn't the first time she was in a situation like this. "At least I know what the fuck I'm doing." She came back to see a girl who's eyes were open. "Okay Great," she said and put the dry towel around her shoulders. It was the closest thing to a stress blanket. "Look who's up."
Cordelia simply listened to the girl, her acts subsiding. She looked around, hoping there was no incriminating signs anywhere. "I got a text," Cordelia said as she felt her iPhone vibrate. Reading the text, Cordelia scoffed. "The gossip blog says it was Aaron," she spoke to Ace, trying to give him as much info as she could manage.
Ace/Pandora: PANDORA ignored Juliet the best she could. Nothing good would come out of being egged on by her right now. She would end up fighting the girl just to rid herself of her shock and use it all as a distraction. She breathed a sigh of relief as Kathryn opened her eyes. "Hey, its okay. We're back inside. You passed out." Pan carefully took her friends hand.
Aleksi let out a careful breath, he was quickly getting frustrated with Juliet, but he couldn't focus on her now. She wasn't important, Kathryn was. "I know what to do with traumatized people too, you're not the only one." he said carefully, leaving out the fact that in his experience he was the traumatized one. He relaxed slightly when Kathryn woke up, giving her a shaky smile, "Hey, Kathryn." he said softly, "It's okay now." he added, repeating Pandora's words.
Ace/Pandora: ACE looked from the one girl to the other. "So you saw someone push this girl of the roof?" He asked, his tone serious. It was a rather bold accusation.. So was the one Cordelia was offering him. Gossip blog? He'd never heard of it. "Aaron Lancaster? That can't be." He simply shook his head taking a deep breath. "No we need to call the police. They can determine if this was foul play or not. I'll call, you both stay here. They'll want to question the ones they can." He reached for his phone in his pocket, dialing.

"I try I try. Uh..." he mumbled, standing awkwardly in front of the camera for a second before she grabbed his face and kissed him HARD. She caught him off-guard, so his face was a mixture of surprise and pain and confusion. After the flash of the camera, he laughed and wiped his face off. "That's a keeper for sure."

"Hi," Juliet said, fixing her hair. She smiled and began to blush, "you look great, Julian."

Sammy laughed, surprised that he managed to get a chuckle out of her, "Touche. What are you king of the dance or something?"

Ryder takes Nikki's hand and walks her to his classic 1950 Ford pickup truck, opening her door and helping her into the car. He sits in the seat and starts the engine, beginning to drive to That's Amore, an Italian restaurant where they will eat before leaving to prom.

Julian noticed her blush and couldn't help but feel his cheeks heat up as well. "Thanks. Your the one looking like a princess though." the boy complemented.

"All of our photos are keepers." She brushed off her shoulder like a gangster, the photographer telling them they have one more photo to be taken. "Ready this time?" She smiled up at Gabriel before giving him bunny ears hehe

Nikki smiles, hopping into the pickup truck and listening to the music that had been previously playing. She waited to get to the resturaunt, and smiled.

Juliet giggled, biting her lip and smiling, "Thank-you, dear." She replied, "this isn't something I'm used to, so I tried my best to look presentable."

Alec laughed a little, "I mean obviously." he smiled before rolling his eyes sarcastically. "I'm always hot, and you know it. But thank you" he said. "Anytime. And who might your date be this evening?"

"Well you did a good job. I'm not used to this type of thing either." he explained, adjusting his tie.

Sammy giggled at Alec's antics, "Yeah I admit it but the suit makes the hotness level go up" she admitted, "I'm flying solo since I'm not staying long"
Gabriel
"Largely because of your pretty face and my excellent hair," Gabriel quipped. He gave her bunny ears in return and stuck his tongue out at her for the next picture. The photographer rolled his eyes, and the two exited the photobooth. "My grandmother will be so pleased. Where to next? Dancing, exploring, or just standing in the corner as per usual?"

"Well you did a good job too." she said, "So.. What do you want to do?"

"Does it really?" he shrugged. "Damn. I must look like a greek god right now then" he laughed. "You are staying long. I'll kidnap you and force you to stay with me"

"Standing in the corner." She slipped her hand into his and dragged him towards the refreshments table. "I'm on a mission first, though." Jack walked in with Courtney, very nervously. He had never had a date to a school dance before and he was very shy about these things. "You look beautiful, love" he said, scratching the back of his head and biting his lip as he looked at her

"I just pretend I can't dance. I took a ballroom dancing class when I was younger because my parents wanted me to. So, y'know. I just don't think it's that much fun because I kind of had to do it."

Once he was sure she had enough time to make it to the front, he made his way up as well, nudging his head to the other side of the roof. "The view is better over there. I come up here when I need time alone to think. Like I said before, I like alone time, so I'm up here more than you'd think." As he made it to the other side, he took a seat on the ledge of the building, kicking his feet against the wall. In front of them was a perfect view of the beach that was not too far from campus, the sun shining brightly above the water. "It's like being at the beach without having to deal with the people. Perfect for me."
