If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever character or whichever project you desire.

Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!

B I O G R A P H Y

Born as the daughter of an American Immigrant, Davíd Hernandez, Victoria was raised understanding the importance of hard work and dedication. While there were many different things she wanted to try as a child ranging from music to horseback riding, her family simply couldn’t afford to support all her interests. They could pay for dance classes for her, which she quickly grew bored of but was forced to attend by her parents until 5th grade (‘a lesson on commitment,’ she remembered them saying). It wasn’t until middle school was she finally able to explore other interests since the school provided equipment and payment options for team sports. So, Victoria and her sister Gabriela took up soccer. However, something weird happened the night before one of their big games. As Victoria daydreamed of the roaring crowd and her stellar passes and goals, she saw a vision of the last five minutes of the game as if crystal clear. It didn’t register as to what occurred until exactly what she had seen the night before happened during the match.

Victoria mentioned it on the ride home and her dad just wrote it off as being ‘déjà vu’, but her mom pulled her aside later that day. Patricia explained that Victoria was special; she’d inherited her mother’s ability of clairvoyance. This meant that she could perceive future events with certain triggers. But Patricia also cautioned her to the problems of developing this ability–her mother had seen the death of loved ones with this ability but had no power to stop it. But Victoria learned how to keep her power at bay. Or so she hoped.

In high school, Victoria excelled at most things. High expectations were place on herself and her sister to not only exceed in class but to be involved in clubs. She was not only in the art club as an officer but also an active member of the Model UN and a part-time server at a restaurant close to her house. It was a lot, but all the work paid off when she applied to colleges. She got her pick of schools, but was at a total, complete loss of what she wanted to do. On top of that, Victoria was burnt out. High school had kind of put her through the wringer, having had operated at high speed the entire time. She managed to last one year at the University of New Mexico before dropping out to do ‘something else’ with her life. Although her parents weren’t wild about the idea, they supported her taking some time off to travel and figure out her next move. And while she was travelling through New Orleans, she fell in love with the city. It was bewitching and on one of her night strolls through the city, an idea hit her. She could start her own fortune-telling business (given she already had a clear advantage over all the others).

After three years of being in business, Victoria was finally making enough money to begin saving up money instead of just paying off loans and bills. But her success came at a cost: one-day Victoria came to find a brick had been thrown through the front window of her shop. Attached to the brick was a note saying; “I know what you really are. Pack your bags and leave or I’ll expose the truth.” Victoria could only speculate who the culprit was, and according to rumors spouted by her customers, her success in the fortune-telling business began stealing business and profit from other local fortune-tellers, and they weren’t happy about it. There was no way of knowing whether the threat was real or not, but she took no chances. Later that week, she closed her business down, set up the space to rent, and formulated a new plan.

She had finally taken enough time off from school that she was ready to go back, and one university had caught her eye; Skybourne. It was a university that had classes aimed at teaching supers how to maintain a secret identity, and she needed to learn how to do that if she’d ever restart her business.

Angela Kennedy: She’s heard the story of Angela’s sister, most heroes have. It is almost a cautionary tale that almost became her own. But Victoria is determined to still run her business so she plans on asking for Angela for advice, but she has yet to approach the woman without offending her.

Aidan Bhanwadia: Ever since she moved to Skybourne over the summer, she’s been trying to find a place to run her business while in school. She started by talking with Aidan, but found him not to helpful. Anymore she just bothers the bartender because she finds him interesting.
