I just listened to the vault track songs on 1989 i’m not okay but oh my god i love this album, surpassed my expectations especially how you get the girl AND WONDERLAND AND OUT OF THE WOODS AND BAD BLOOD AND AAA

I so badly wanna hear ur thoughts on alice now

i still love her i just don’t like what they did to her in s4 but if i ignore that i love her to bits and kirito n hers platonic friendship

mate it’s 3am and i will give you that disclaimer now BUT

she honestly just… yeah. like the anime butchered alicization so bad. but alice’s catholic guilt really is so good. like. sorry about the eye and the trauma. LOVE the symbolism.

the thing that made me actually go “hey, i actually really like this character, what the fuck” was reading when she tries to save her dad and she just… silently accepts he’s never going to tell her he loves her ever again because to him she’s some stranger who killed his daughter and parades around her corpse. like. not to be queer but hello. me too.

just. it’s the tiny tiny moments that won me over with her. like the moment with her dad, or the moment with ronye and tiese - which redeemed her from the whole reason i didn’t like her in the first place.

the books humanised her and fleshed her out a lot more, which is what was missing in the anime and what i didn’t fully absorb on my first read.

i actually really, really find myself coming to love alice. so that’s really fun. hello babygirl. sorry for the salty posts. i’m glad ur here. sorry it took me a while to appreciate it.
