its been a couple years so im gonna be more vocal about this but theres something truly tragic about wowaka being cheated out of recognition with his vocaloid music, making a song about it even, then finding happiness and success with hitorie and even making a new vocaloid song (with his band!!!) to kinda put the grudge aside (it was also for an anniversary thing right idr now) and recognizing she helped kickstart his career but not entirely rejecting the past feeling ("can you see me" lyrics in it being the most obvious -people are giving all the love to miku and not the producer-) ... and pass away shortly after... and then everyone is like oh no wowaka passed away! heres miku rolling girl

like... i get it ... a lot of people who are vocaloid exclusive wouldnt know or understand... but in this case specifically, celebrating how a person affected YOU without much regard to how they felt about that work in particular, and again just how much happier he was in a band and would rather you pay attention to that. it felt very... off. very bitter. even now it feels bitter. he was doing so much better but all people focused was on when he was feeling the worse because it made them feel better, or nostalgia, or miku.

incoherent post that could be dissected to hell and back and included in the callout post etc but i think ill never be able to explain this feeling reasonably anyway.
