you and asahi had already been dating for a bit. him being the softie he is, he hadn't made a move to kiss you yet, concerned you would be uncomfortable if he moved too fast for your pace (never bothering to ask you, himself, whether or not you'd be okay with intimate moments like that). today he had just gotten out of practice, spliting off from the other third years who planned to hang out somewhere as he recieved a text from you.

it was just like any other time you asked him to come over, him hurrying over like a dog who hasnt seen his owner in months. when you opened the door for him, you noticed he carried bubble tea and some of your favorite desserts with him, and you couldn't help but feel your heart swell up with happiness. you two relaxed on the couch, talking about your days and enjoying the treats he brought with him.

you two had been sitting in blissful silence before curiosity got the better of you and you hesitantly ask him something you've always wanted to know. "why haven't you tried to kiss me yet?" (queue asahi violently choking) "i just... didn't want to rush you into a moment like that" you tilt your head before squirming your way over to him "well i think you've taken a bit too long, sir" you tease, waiting for him before he pulls you into a tender kiss. "was it worth the wait?" he asks with a sheepish grin "hell yea"

TODOROKI

✿ when you first met, he was almost slightly relieved you were a bit quiet as the class is chaos enough as is lmao

✿ finds comfort in your soft smiles and quiet moments alone, and that's how you two both open up to each other eventually

✿ he admires how you're both smart and funny, a balance of traits i personally think he respects in different ways.

✿ likes study sessions, where you two go over topics brought up in class, and your face you make while concentrated

✿ your first kiss was him trying to prove that to you as best as he could

it really made no sense. you studied, you prepped, and had a good grasp on the subject at hand.- and yet, you got a lower grade than you expected. whether or not you typically were harsh on yourself when it came to grades, you really didn't meet your expectations, and something about today just made you quite upset at yourself.

"i know i could've done better, i thought i did better, so what went wrong?" todoroki overheard you grumble at yourself, staring at your grade in utter confusion "im sure whatever score you got is fine" he shrugged, a hint of concern laced in his voice as he sat down next to you "you're right, it is fine, but it isnt the perfect score i expected it to be." you shook your head. "it doesnt have to be a perfect score though," he tried to comfort you, not sure if he should lay a hand on your back or simply sit there as a "you are perfect enough already" slips from his lips

a quick silence fell on the two of you, an intense blush settling itself on your face as he refuses to make eye contact. moments pass and you tap him with a smile, before whispering a soft thank you and giving him a gentle peck
