I have been thinking a lot about Hades 2. Specifically about how Melinoe is going to interact with Zagreus, Persephone, and Hades.
Given that time is a big theme in H2, I think a lot of the initial dialogue will be Hades, Persephone, and Zag getting used to Mel being an adult now. Persephone will probably handle it the best, given she has experience with this exact feeling, but Zag and Hades will have it harder.
I can see Zag becoming a bit overprotective and needing to be told to chill out, while Hades might encourage Mel to abandon them all together and save herself initially.
I think Mel's journey in H2 is going to learning how to find meaning in her life beyond her purpose (opposite of Zag, who needed to find his purpose), so a lot of their conversations may also be Hades, Zag, and Persephone asking Mel questions about her life in an attempt to reconnect and Mel realizing that all of her answers have to do with killing Chronos.
Zag will help her learn to relax and have fun, as he will be one of the few people in her life who will be Mel's equal rather than mentor. He will also likely be the one to encourage Mel to be disobedient or at least questioning towards the authority figures in her life, as he is very familiar with having a parental figure who, while well intentioned, has kept massive, life altering secrets from you (which Hecate and Odysseus seems to be doing).
Persephone might bond with Mel over a shared love of plants and help Mel understand that it's okay to have two homes or have multiple people occupy the same role in her life, as she learned to share the mom role with Nyx for Zagreus. Persephone might also help her navigate the changing dynamics of her family at the crossroads as more secrets come to light, as she is very used to handling complex relationships (being an Olympian and all)
Hades will likely bond with Mel over the understanding of having a huge, insurmountable task that only you can do and being stressed the hell out about it (ruling the dead for Hades and killing Chronos for Mel). Hades is very organized and uptight, like Mel, so he will probably understand her the best. He might also help Mel to be more hopeful and put more faith in herself, as she and Hades seem to share a certain amount of self-loathing and a habit of holding themselves to insanely high standards.
There's a lot of room for Mel to become a daddy's girl and I am here for it.
