i will say though that i reject ravenbarley being a problematic ship bc "he showed up in yellowfangs secret so he should be way older than ravenpaw" bc yellowfang's secret is a shitty book that makes no sense and i think we should all declare it as noncanon

#YS just straight up forgets that bloodclan shouldnt exist at that point. scourge hasnt even been born yet #there is no feasible or possible way for barley's backstory to happen at this point in the timeline #and YS is the ONLY book where something like this happens #all that being said. i prefer ravensmudge and thats what i go with in my au #but like... idk what do you believe. other books that consistently paint bloodclan as much younger? or one book that is stuff to the brim #with errors and mischaracterization and bad plot points that never happen again
