oh, and while i’m on a roll, i cannot stand books saying “love conquers all” and expects the vague concept of love to do the conquering. like umm, no, there needs to be a person that’s driven by that emotion to take charge and make decisions and change things. like there needs to be action. maybe the action stems from love, sure, but there needs to be thought and energy put into it. and also they need to be a little insane about it.
