June Fic Recap

Compared to May this was a ridiculously productive month. I hope this is a sign of things to come.

Rumbelle Fic

The Dark One’s Lady, Part 2 - A follow up because people were asking for it. Belle is the queen, married to Gaston, but the Dark One is her lover. (Rumbelle)

For a Good Cause, Chapter 1 - For the smut prompt at a-monthly-rumbelling “ stilettos/high heels, party, dirty talk .” Belle is feeling less than happy with her body and less than enthused about going to a charity party. Fortunately, she has her devoted husband and his silver tongue to make her feel better. My first chubby!Belle fic! (Rumbelle)

Out of the Ashes, Chapter 1 - Also known as the Rumbelle PTSD fic that I’ve teased forever. Set post season 5A where Rumple does not take back the dark curse, and deals with anxiety, depression, mental illness in general, and PTSD. In this first chapter, Belle wakes up alone, Rumple is not coping well, and there are too many straws on this camel’s back.

For Rent, Part 6 - I was randomly inspired to finish up this chapter in preparation for finally getting to this part I’ve had written forever. In which Gold reminisces about an moment during his last “tea party” with Belle, and works up the courage to ask her on a date.

As My Lady Commands, snippet - For WIP Week I finally went back to some old stuff and got a little bit added. The first part of chapter 12 is now done plus a little extra. ;) I posted the first section a few days ago, in which Belle and Rumple are settling into living together in Granny’s cottage while pretending to be a couple.

Out of the Ashes, snippet - For WIP Week, newest WIP. The first section of chapter 2 where Belle once again wakes up alone, and makes a plan.

For a Good Cause, Chapter 2 - For the non-smut-turned-into-smut prompt at a-monthly-rumbelling, “bad day, drink, cuddling.” In aftermath of the charity party, Belle is feeling even worse, and Gold is more than ready to make good on his earlier promise.

Come Clean, snippet - For WIP Week, I also dusted off an old favorite and wrote the first section out completely. Previously it was just some notes and a couple paragraphs. Lacey is trying to figure out what’s up with Gold now that she’s decided she likes him.

Untitled #4 - Another smutty “drabble” except this one got away from me and went almost full fic. Oops! For the dwsmutfest prompt wet dreams. (Ten II/Rose)

June Word Count: 10,187

2017 Word Count: 52,233

I haven’t been posting my total word count so far, because 2017 was off to a very slow and depressing start, but June really got me back on track. Most of July will be devoted to RCIJ but hopefully I can bang that out ahead of schedule with it being a Camp NaNo month. Not a terrible word count but not where I want to be.
