The staff at Battleship Iowa has done something no battleship has done in 30+ years (no museum battleship has done, at least to my knowledge), rotating a turret!
"We made history about a month ago by turning the inner projectile ring in Turret I. Today, we topped that feat.
For the first time since the IOWA's decommissioning in 1990 and for the first time since 1992, a turret on an lowa Class battleship has been rotated.
This footage is just a tease of what we got. Stay tuned for more - including mind-blowing views from inside the turret that have never been seen on film before.
This evolution was the result of months of hard work and research by our team, as well as input from lowa Class battleship veterans. We make it look easy, but it's most definitely not."

Other everyday expenses like electricity, food, transportation, and healthcare all frequently exceed the national average. While there are plenty of profitable work options in the metropolis, especially in the media, technology, and healthcare sectors, the expensive cost of living can be an obstacle for individuals with lesser earnings. But many people still choose the location because of its rich culture, topnotch entertainment, and wealth of amenities. A pleasant life in LA requires careful neighborhood selection and money management, but it's necessary to be prepared for the higher costs of living in this renowned and energetic city.

Los Angeles Now Plans to Give Vouchers to Homeless People to Stay in Hotels
In order to provide emergency shelter and other services, housing homeless people in hotels has been adopted in many cities and regions as a short-term remedy to the problem of homelessness. Particularly during severe weather or public health concerns, hotel placements can offer homeless folks an immediate solution by giving them a safe and stable place to live. Some hotel programs come with access to social assistance, medical treatment, and case management to assist individuals in addressing the underlying reasons for their homelessness. These accommodations can be a helpful stopgap measure, but in an ideal world, they should be a part of a comprehensive plan to end homelessness that also involves the provision of affordable and supportive housing and determining the root causes of the issue.
