I’m several weeks late but to celebrate finally getting my driver’s license I’m gonna spend a frankly ridiculous amount of money on a single (1) beverage

#There’s this one local boba tea/coffee place… their drinks are SO good but stupid expensive. #I’m not nearly employed enough to be wasting this kind of money on DRINKS #Especially when Dollar Tree just restocked their canned taro boba #But I mean. Canned boba doesn’t compare to the stupid fancy little drinks I can get here #Why does it even come in a can? Very impractical way to drink a beverage containing lots of solid chunks. You need a straw. #You can’t just crack the can open and chug it like you could with Coke or beer. It’s very easy for the balls to get stuck in the can. #I digress. I finally have a car I can drive & a license & my mom is allowing me to drive alone so I deserve a stupid little indulgent treat #Oh Jesus fuck now that I have a license I have to get a job next to pay for gas. #I’m neurodivergent and a minor (for a few more months) and a guitar player I have so much Unemployed Girl Swag I should never have to work #no but it’s insane because it feels like two seconds ago I was 13 & now all of a sudden I’m 17 and have to apply to college & apply for job #& all sort of other vaguely Grown Up responsible shit #Still haven’t emotionally processed the fact I’m not 15 anymore!! What the hell!!!!
