The Magus crossed her arms and stared at the Lancer she summoned. Of course she was the one who summoned her, who else would it be? Definitely not that counter part of hers who wasn’t strong enough.  Nem stood there, eyeing her up and down before nodding briskly.

“Ya, what of it?” She retorted while smirking at her. “Are you strong enough to be of use to me? I require strength to help me carve out a path. To take down my enemies with no remorse, by any means necessary. Are you up for it, Servant?”

A grotesque smile slowly crept it’s way unto her lips. 

“Yer not, huh?” She replied softly, slowly, allowing her mouth to fully form the words with feigned disbelief. Nem knew Shirou a bit by now. The righteous goody two shoes. ‘I’m going to save everyone’ bit was sure to have come out. 

“How will you manage that? It’s innate.” She said softly, yet her words felt like poison in her throat. “Her turning out like me is the same as you turning out to be just. like. Archer. Only worse. You’ll kill to save, she’ll do it cuz someone bothered ‘er a little too long. At least she’ll finally be interesting. Yuuki would finally be able to fight. She won’t need others to die for her spineless self. She’d be a fighter and closer to what she should have been to begin with.”

“A murderer.”

The Magus didn’t even look up from her Switch, playing a fighting game called Bayonetta. The clicking of the buttons sounding loud as she contemplated her response. It’s not like she despises or dislikes Aiguille, quite the contrary. Nem likes him and enjoys his company, though she refuses to admit it aloud to him, but she would go so far as to hurt whomever decided to pick a fight and hurt him. They’d be full of holes by the time she was done.

“Oh pray tell, do you prefer my rudness, Mr. Scary Villain?” A small snicker before she replied. “Don’t question it too hard. I’m just not being rude. Yet.”

“You’re damn fucking right I am!” Pure venom was dripping from her words as she gripped a blade tight in her right hand. “I don’t care about your stupid ‘system’. You will bring him back to me.” 

Nem had already lost so much. She had been ripped from her time, from her freedom, all to help ‘save the world.’ As if the world ever gave a damn about her to begin with. Born to a shitty father who only ever wanted results no matter what. He also had quite the creative punishments for any perceived failure. That’s what she was to him,  a failure. 

She had snapped from the pressure, the punishments. The Magus summoned a shadow of a servant to do her bidding and kill her family. It wasn’t just any shadow Servant though. She was damn near certain the Shadow Figure was her Archer. The one they had so easily taken from her. The appearance of the two is uncanny, even if she hadn’t fully paid attention at that time. Their bond as Master and Servant was a strong one, stronger than any other bond with a Servant she had. 

“I don’t give a fuck who started what anymore. I’ll leave her alone or whatever else you want. Just bring him back. If you won’t, I won’t hold back. I’ve got good aim, Sion. I don’t care if I doom humanity by harming you or killing you or whatever. Bring back Archer and I’ll continue helping humanity. Scout’s Honor.”

The Master eyed her Servant very carefully. There was only two ways this could go. One, she tells the truth, or two: Lies. Althought being caught red-handed in the garment makes option two tricky... Nonetheless, Nem enjoyed such challenges.

“Is it? I thought it was mine.” A pause. “Mine got bloody and sweaty, so I grabbed the first thing I could find.” The magus replied matter-of-factly, looking down at the shirt in feigned disbelief. “I can give it back if you truly want it.”

Oh fuck, he heard about that? What else could he have possibly heard about? Please don’t tell her that he also heard she wore a frilly dress and actually acted completely unlike herself. She quickly composed herself, but of course Nem was positive he had already seen her facial expression prior.

“Most commonly loved is the Monarch. The exclusive diet of the poisonous milk weeds causes the butterflies to become poisonous once they emerge from their chrysalis. The red lacewing shows it’s poisonous by it’s colors. Although my favorite being the Pipevine Swallowtails. It’s caterpillar stage is spent solely feasting upon the toxic pipevines. The plant is filled to the brim with aristolochic acids. This defense is so great that most, if not all butterflies mimic this one.” A small pause as the other looked at him, a glint of mischievousness in her emerald hues. 

“So thank you, for such a compliment. I am a poisonous butterfly, luring my enemies near so I can strike.”
