Robin buys Steve a team Edward shirt as a gag gift.

Steve doesn’t get it despite the fact that many of his students were obsessed with Twilight, and there’s been a few arguments between middle schoolers he’s had to break up when things get unnecessarily heated.

Steve thought it was funny because someone *cough* Eddie himself *cough* had tried to convince the others he was brought back as a vampire. Nevertheless, the shirt goes forgotten until one laundry day Steve is looking for something to wear. He puts the shirt on and goes about his day.

Later, he’s folding laundry when Eddie walks into the room and gives Steve the most bewildered look.

“Dearest, what in the ever living fuck are you wearing?”

Steve looks down “oh I forgot. Robin got me this awhile ago as joke.”

Eddie launches into tirade about how vampires DO NOT sparkle. Steve just laughs, because he wouldn’t expect a middle-aged man to care about the accuracy of the monsters in a teen movie, but of course the nerd he chose to spend the rest of his life with does.
