“They did not like it” Steve Loter about the fan response to the ASIT dvd having those old looks of Kim and Ron, on I Hear Voices podcast.
We sure did not!!!
(Apparently he had drawn versions that were SUPER awesome, and the old looks were meant to be jokey but the super awesome ones weren’t kept.)

¨When The Owl House finishes we aren’t going to have more story driven animated shows/ shows with arcs¨
This is a rumor that has been spreading lately and it isn’t all true.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur has been confirmed to become story driven early on and based on the latest episodes, it looks like it is starting to do that.
The Ghost and Molly Mcgee Season 2 has been confirmed by Steve Loter to be more story driven. The first season has a ¨bigger narrative¨ as well.
And if you are fan of Star Wars, you could enjoy ¨The Bad Batch¨ on Disney Plus. It’s has story arcs with some standalone episodes in between. Great stuff.
Moving to shows that aren’t from Disney:
Craig of the Creek later becomes more or less this from Season 3 forward. It’s semi-episodic.
In Summer Camp Island takes a while but it later develops complex lore and some character arcs.
Hilda the series is a beautiful show that has an overall story with each episode being a standalone story connected to other episodes.
Lego Monkie Kid is great show with a story driven narrative with complex characters and some morally grey situations.
Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Warrior has a whole story. It isn’t an amazing show but it has its moments.
My Dad The Bounty Hunter is an space sci-fi show that turns into the protagonists fighting against an exploitative destructive company and explores a complicated family relationship.
Sonic Prime has an story with characters jumping into different dimensions and a main character arc for Sonic.
I also heard that The Legend of Vox Machina is good. It’s a show with a medieval story fantasy setting. Note: It’s an adult animation show.
In addition to that, Fionna and Cake mini series spin off and Unicorns: Warriors Eternal are coming out this year.
I understand if some of you can’t access this shows because they are on Netflix or HBO Max. But the point is that there are still some story driven shows out there and the rumor that there aren’t anymore isn’t totally accurate. You can find them if you look for them.

I forgot, what was the general consensus about Drakgo being canon among the KP production crew/writers/etc? I think I remember Steve Loter wasn't keen on it and either Bob or Mark also wasn't a fan...I'd love to know if John or Nicole were for it or anyone else

I know the episode has been out for a long while. But the idea with this shot from the episode “Devil On Her Shoulder” from Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
Tumblr media
On one hand. It shouldn’t be surprising that Spider-Man does exist in this universe. Because the show is more complimentary to the MCU. But considering Aftershock is in this show. My best guess is Peter has been Spider-Man for a long time. Think of something akin to Insomniac’s take on Spider-Man or even the Spider-Verse’s take of Peter B. Parker. Or unless it’s Mayday, I’m rambling and thinking about this shot too seriously.
I think the other thing that surprises me is that...Deadpool exists in this world. Which is scary to me. But I know I sound silly. It’s just nice seeing easter eggs or so like this.
I have had thoughts of making my own take on Spider-Man existing in this universe. But then I’d have to make some huge departures to it to have it exist or whatever else...it’s just funny to think about.
Also, I am aware about Steve Loter talking about this here. https://www.tumblr.com/disneytva/714606562003615744/steve-loter-twitter-ama-gives-hints-to-moon-girl?source=share

Hello sorry to bother you with this all of sudden ,and this might be coming out of nowhere, and I’m not trying to force you but I m trying to get more people into this show with great potential. If your not interested it’s fine but Have you heard of or watched moon girl and devil dinosaur? Season 2 comes out February 2.
The main character i love she gives me autistic vibes I’m autistic. The show has interesting characters, action ,great music, and animation ,good themes and representation, Anime references, it even has an eyecatch season 2 is going to be more story driven if you find that interesting. Steve Loter is an executive producer and story developer he worked on Kim possible
It be good if you watch the first 2 season 2 episode when they air so the ratings will be higher. And watch the other season 2 episodes when they air.
I think Disney might be trying to sabotage the show with them probably dropping 14 episodes on Disney + on February 3. They did similar with season 1 and the ratings where low ,please watch season 2 episodes when they air on. But more importantly also watch it on Disney + on feb 3 and when they air it on YouTube. Unfortunately they are dropping 14 episodes on Disney + so watch them all in one day but also when they air the first time.
I’m not just saying only cable just also. I’m saying please support this show. Despite that it still won 5 Emmys. Also if it’s no trouble could if it alright with you spread the word about this show to others you know like either online or irl. Time is limited!
Tumblr media
I have heard of this show and I agree it looks very interesting! I have been considering checking it out so this may get me to watch it, we'll see where my motivation is later.
I will say it wouldn't be the first time a network sabotaged a popular, really unique, good show like this. I can think of a few I used to watch as a kid that seemed like they ended waay before they should've, and that had so much potential but got cancelled. So I understand where you're coming from!
If I watch this show I'll definitely let you know, I understand all of where you're coming from on this one.

Shego’s Real Age (expanded)
This topic has been widely discussed and many have shared their thoughts on it. One notable individual who has delved into the topic you can check out is bcbrums,-
 https://www.reddit.com/r/KimPossible/comments/av35u9/comment/ehh0u7o/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
but im gonna try cover some things i don't see a lot that's why im posting this.
to start During the recent 20th anniversary celebration, Bob Schooley, co-creator of "Kim Possible," answered the question of Shego's age, stating that she was in her mid to late 20s, but they purposely never committed to a specific age.
https://www.reddit.com/r/KimPossible/comments/v7dqqf/comment/ibkdtip/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
This just goes to show that the focus of the show was never really on small details, but rather on comedy, action, and light high school drama.
Stephen Silver, the character artist for "Kim Possible," has stated that he modeled Shego in his head as a 30-year-old. Additionally,
episode director Steve Loter has reportedly stated in interviews and old blog posts from 2005 that Shego was in her mid-20s .
It's likely that if you asked each episode writer on "Kim Possible" for their answer on Shego's age, you would receive different responses.
There are several details throughout the "Kim Possible" show that suggest Shego's age. For example, in the "Golden Years" episode from season 2, Drakken's evil plan involves using mind-controlled MP3 player waves to create an army of young people zombies made up of college and high school students. When Shego refers to this army as "Generation Y," it suggests she is not close in age to these young people or a millennial. This is further emphasized by her difficulty in understanding Drakken's millennial slang, indicating she may not be of college or millennial age. 22-18 at the time There are other moments that show she is older such as stating she is a fully credentialed teacher with a degree in child development in “stop team go” and more. her own introduction in the show states that she is a seasoned criminal wanted in several countries which I think she did after college cause those goals don't really mix lol. I think one factor that contributes to Shego appearing older is her character traits and personality resembling her voice actor, Nicole Sullivan. Upon watching recent interviews with Sullivan and Christy Carlson Romano, one can see how Sullivan's comedic personality influenced Shego and likely the writers. Shego was the only character for whom the creators had a specific voice actor in mind from their previous work on the "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" show, which happened to be when Sullivan was around 28-29 years old.(coincidence?)
This, I believe, had a greater impact on the development of Shego's habits and personality than any other factor and is why her age was never clarified in the show.
This also explains why the joke in the "Clean Slate" episode has sorta a deeper significance. In this episode, Kim loses her memory and when Shego meets kim she jokes she was a high school senior when Kim was a freshman, causing Ron to react with comedic disgust and imply that Shego is way older. At the time, the show never had specified Shego's age, so this joke may have gone unnoticed. However, when considering that the episode was produced in 2007 and Nicole Sullivan was 37 years old(and married by the 4th season and about to become a mom with her first kid), the joke becomes clearer when comparing herself to a then 17-21 yr old Christy Carlson. So in conclusion while shego doesn't have a specified age she is in fact still an adult. it can be whatever you see fit with in reason of what the show gave but yeah I personally see her as closer to Nicole’s age 29-32.  her and drakken’s routine most resembles a common trope of a bumbling boss and sarcastic secretary.
