THROUGH THE TUNNEL
“Through The Tunnel” (1955) is a short story by Doris Lessing. The story is about a young English boy named Jerry overcoming his fears and childish nature in an attempt to fit in with a group of local boys he encounters while on holiday.

Sinéad was a huge inspiration to my baby recovering-Catholic ass. We’ve lost a real powerhouse who understood the assignment of “Artist” the way few who become household names ever do. To take stands. To use your platform effectively. To make powerful people uncomfortable.
O’Connor was… we’ll say “complicated”… in her later years, no doubt a result of how she was treated in response to her outspokenness about sexual abuse in the Catholic Church. She wasn’t always right. She wasn’t always kind. Sometimes she was downright wack. But she is worth learning about and understanding as a whole person if you haven’t.
I don’t usually cry when celebrities pass but today is different. She was a big influence on me and one of the few songwriters that were able to take me inside their world. Rest in Power Sinead
