One of 17 known species of Dumbo octopus, the Flapjack Octopus is, quite frankly, cute as hell.
While they lack the ink-sacs and camouflaging abilities that other cephalopods rely on to survive, they're never without a plan. These clever ambush-predators flatten themselves to appear nonthreatening, then stir up sediment on the seafloor with their tentacles and cirri to drive their prey into the open.
Go on. Underestimate a Flapjack Octopus. I dare you.
