The problem with being in charge of the bookkeeping was just the sheer volume of the work. Often times Gregory did not have the time in the day to work on his hobbies... but then there was the time that he did. There was the lucky slow day when nothing new had actually happened. And this was one of those days.

Rich notes from a violin fill his room and travel out into the hallway.

In one hand he holds a violin of lovely quality that had been bought with his salary, in the other he holds the bow expertly. It glides over the strings for him, playing beautifully.

For this moment he is at peace, finding joy in the music like he always has.
