The title means "evening of words", the sunset of them, the end. A kind of silence, while thinking about the past: and hazy memories left behind, resurface. The short stories and poems inside also follow the flow of memory and are like flashbacks in an indefinite past: the poems of Paul Klee and the thought of Giordano Bruno, of which some extracts are found in the book. This photobook is fast like a zine but intimate like a diary.

This is an Extra-edition of 20 copies numbered and signed.

Original first edition was in 100 copies (2018 January).

The book is printed on an original light-blue lined paper of the 70's and on a dirty white coated paper.

Closed book dimensions: 21,5 x 31 cm

The book investigates the natural phenomenon of “Upward Positive Leaders” - which is a rare phenomenon visible during the thunderstorms where the lightning comes from the ground going to the sky. Lightning is the chosen element - a metaphysical symbol - to tell the desire and the necessity of working together. A manner of rethinking the terms of how to live the artist's role today. It is the first collection of drawings in-depth overview of the artists’s interpretation of the theme, offer a rare look into the personalities of some of the most relevant Italian artists living and working today.

REAL offers an overview of the art publishing market: from traditional publishers, using movable type, engravings or hand binding, to publishing houses specialised in contemporary photo books and artists’ books. The fair will host book-signings and talks to present and launch new editorial releases.
