I knew the musical already but the cd copies of Notre Dame de Paris I have were given to me by my human sciences teacher during high school so everytime I listen to even just a couple songs in passing I always end up thinking about him

#your feelings towards a male teacher you haven't seen in almost three years can actually be so complex #not that he was a bad person!!! i just think his teaching methods weren't exactly fit for a high school class because he didn't stick to th #Programma Ministeriale™. which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it can cause a lot of problems during exams and all if you end up with a #commissione esterna (my class was lucky though because in the that year human sciences was interno) #and i often found myself disagreeing with some of his ideas and beliefs and whatnot #but all this aside he genuinely did care for his students and was always willing to lend an ear or help you with stuff if you asked #and uh. let's say that the year he became our teacher was a delicate one for me #*butterfly meme* is this someone i can project my paternal issues onto? #AND. he gave me both the french and the italian cd versions of notre dame de paris. so. 😊 #mytext #school #(--_--)
