year-end sugar rush round up 🍭
it’s time for the last round up of 2023. we have made it through another year filled with clownery and love for the boys! as per my tradition in posting year end candy recaps, i am releasing early 31st cause i am gonna be busy with nye shows. i hope you enjoy looking through all the happiness the final month gave us. have a great new year’s eve everyone!!!
Tumblr media
if you wanna look through the past months or year/s then go to this link. 🔗
i’m adding a little exercise to this post tho and ask you, what are your top 5 cpns of the year? please comment or reblog with your answers!
• The tattoo rumor resurfaces ( new clue? )
• Bowing to the crowd as thank you
• 13 fake rumors - from the vault
• potential wedding photoshoot and “superman can’t fly”
• not really cpn but a media account on tiktok posted a video of xz’s appearance in MBS. they used the tags related to xiao zhan for more views, but they included one that has wang yibo’s name on it. 😂 i know that they might have just chosen an already existing tag with xz and wyb name on it and forgot to edit it. but it’s still a funny incident.
• 12/3 ZSWW Fake Rumor ( pre singapore timeline )
• 12/4 fake story contribution ( wolf mates for life )
• Washing candies only make it sweeter
• An example of bjyx being an open secret ( sort of )
photos were going around of a yibo vcr played in a chanel annual meeting in china. we were all happy to see wyb lookin so good and fresh faced, but what we noticed is his top.
Tumblr media
the style of top he was wearing (p1) is very similar to that of GG’s (p2) at the airport when he was flying back to Beijing. it’s probably because the weather is getting colder so they wear this instead of their usual esspensive t-shirts?
the point is it’s kind of like the same-style in a close timeframe from each other. so it seems like their tastes in casual clothes are still very close.
• 12/7/23 Candies ( GQ MOTY + XZS Singapore vlog)
• The GQ MOTY hat was a gift from XZ 🤍 // Part two : I have to say that this has become a favorite one among cpns and has become notorious since so/os from both sides are trying so desperately to wash it. those on xz’s side using rocco’s 227 kadian to dispute everything even if it was their fault they were called out while xz was busy working his ass of shooting LOCH. this is just a reminder that the celebrity is not equal to their fans. whatever drama both sides do to each other, has nothing to do with us and does not reflect the boy’s relationship. 🤍
• Coffee from Singapore CPN ☕️
• All the things that happened Monday Morning of 12/11 which includes the magazine covers, pants, xz going online for a moment etc.
• xiao zhan’s snowman ⛄️
• The fact that WYB was wearing the bone necklace tho hidden during his BAZAAR photoshoot. The ones in focus were of course Chanel, but those who pay attention will see it. A proof of how special it is. Imagine WYB being bare faced and only had stuff that he actually needs, and he decided to keep the necklace on.
Tumblr media
• Not exactly CPN but more of a similarity i love to see. cause Shandong Satellite TV decided to air BAH right after SBMS! We love to see their works not only be shown in online platforms, but also in satellite TV stations.
• Candy Throwback : Alexander Mcqueen shoes, Nike off white & WYB’s missing mole
• 12/15 double attack of stock photos from XZS and YBO. The black and white theme! Anytime these two decide to give us some update is a happy day!
Tumblr media
• Du Hua describes WYB’s looks as that of a rabbit
• Tencent Video All Star Night CPNs 💛
• 12/19 they both went back to Beijing. ZZ was in Shanghai to film and WYB also filmed CCTV stage. The thing is WYB started filming at 2:00 AM and then he was back at the airport to leave at 10:00 AM. They both arrived to BJ so close to each other. CPN is they tried really hard to be back home & be together that day ♥️
• throwback cpn : wyb prepares xz’s room in hengdian (2021)
• their studios posting so close together for winter solstice! tho wyb’s is a preview for his new single, ybo still greeted people.
Tumblr media
• Winter solstice CPNs ( WYB’s song preview and GG’s photoset )
• Clowning about a possible secret message from a 9key code
• “Everything is lovely” similarity from xzs caption and yibo’s new single and more clues like a possible connection to an lrlg post & what looks like a rabbit and character for ox.
• black and yellow similarity!
Tumblr media
• 12/26 WYB EP cpn post ( teaser lyrics )
• FAE : Free and Easy sweater
• Same style of editing between XZS and YBO who we all know are dating ☺️☺️☺️
Tumblr media
• 12/28 candies
• Marie Claire x Xiao Zhan issue 🍭🍬
• Yibo’s new singles : Bystander & Everything is Lovely
• LRLG 12/30 translation and short commentaries
• LRLG responding to cpf comments
• Wang Wang Xianbei 😂😂😂😂
• Similar clothes and Participating in the same single for a nye song
That’s all for now, See you next year!!!! ❤️💛💚

HAPPY 70th BIRTHDAY GEDDY!!!!
Tumblr media
(meme credit to u/rtphokie on reddit)
OH, AND WHAT’S THAT?!?! IT’S ALSO THE 49th ANNIVERSARY OF NEIL PEART JOINING RUSH?!?!
In order to celebrate these wondrous occasions, I have compiled 70 reasons why I love Rush (especially Geddy):
70. They don't have any unlistenable albums. I can put on any Rush album and at the very least enjoy it, which is saying a lot!
69. ANDDDD they have 19 studio albums!!! 167 songs!!!
68. Alex's iconic Hall of Fame induction speech.
67. The movie I Love You, Man. The main plot of that is just two guys geeking out about Rush and then going to see them in concert.
66. The Bb5 in "Cygnus X-1 Book 1: The Voyage". For the record, the other famous Bb5 sung by a male singer in rock is the high note in "Bohemian Rhapsody", sung by Roger Taylor.
65. Geddy's range in general. Say what you will about his voice, but he had range.
64. Their pre-concert videos.
63. "Hey baby it's 7:45 and I need to go to bed soon, let's fuck"- In the Mood. The debut album was something else, man.
62. They wrote songs during soundcheck when they were on tour. This includes songs like "Tom Sawyer" and "Chemistry".
61. They went to a Yes concert while recording Caress of Steel, and almost quit making the album. I, for one, am very glad they didn't!
60. The "rap" in "Roll the Bones". Sit back, relax, get busy with the facts...
59. Gene Simmons thought they weren't into women because they didn't want to party with KISS. True story!
58. They listed their baseball positions in the liner notes for Signals.
57. Neil wrote lyrics to a song using only anagrams. The song is called "Anagram (For Mongo)", and is on the album Presto.
56. They thanked themselves in the liner notes for Hemispheres. Listed as Dirk, Lerxst, and Pratt, ofc!
55. They would challenge themselves to write last-minute songs. Results of this experiment include "Hand Over Fist" from Presto, and "Malignant Narcissism" from Snakes and Arrows.
54. The mere existence of "A Passage to Bangkok". I wonder what their thought process was to put a song about smoking weed around the world after a 20-minute long dystopian prog rock epic...
53. "La Villa Strangiato". Just... everything about it.
52. The kimonos. You know the ones!
Tumblr media
51. Their nicknames for each other!! (see above)
50. They had the second-longest stable line up in rock music! The only ones with a longer stable line up was ZZ Top.
49. They had a 40-year career! Even longer if you include pre-Neil and their adventures since the R40 tour.
48. The synth era. I unapologetically love 80s Rush, especially Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows.
47. "The Necromancer" basically being self-insert Tolkien fanfic. I wonder who the "three travelers" are supposed to be... OH WAIT!
46. They're giant nerds. All prog bands are, but they are especially nerdy.
45. Hugh Syme's awesome album covers. He did every single one from Caress of Steel onwards, barring the front cover for Snakes and Arrows.
44. The 7/8 section in "Tom Sawyer". That was my first intermediate bass line! Thanks, Geddy!
43. They're Canadian icons. Unironically, they're the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions "Canada" to me.
42. The horribly cheesy, terrible, but also really funny music video for "Time Stand Still". That song, btw, might be my favorite 80s Rush song, and is probably in my Top 5.
41. The triple-entendre pun of Moving Pictures. They're filming a movie (moving picture) of people moving paintings (moving pictures), while someone is getting moved by the scene (moving...pictures...).
40. They quote the 1812 Overture in the overture for "2112".
39. Geddy taught Les Claypool how to properly play "YYZ".
38. The Permanent Waves era glasses!
Tumblr media
37. The opening of "Xanadu".
36. The weird stuff Geddy would have on his side of stage after he stopped using amps. This includes rotisserie chickens, washing machines, dryers, and popcorn machines.
35. "Music by Lee and Lifeson, Lyrics by Peart" on almost every single Rush song.
34. The ending of "Spirit of Radio". OF SALESMEN!!!
33. Their inside jokes. Example: The Bag.
32. They took French classes together, and began announcing their songs in French in Quebec.
31. The progressiveness of Counterparts. What other 40-year old rockstars were talking about healthy relationship boundaries and openly supporting gay people in 1993?
30. Their vaults are practically empty because they scrapped songs that weren't up to their standards. This is why we have no sub-par Rush material!
29. Choosing to end their careers with grace.
28. Ending the last show of their career with "Working Man", the song that got everything started.
27. "Dreamline"--"Learning that we're only immortal / For a limited time".
26. Geddy and Alex inducting Yes into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
25. Then, of course, Geddy playing "Roundabout" with Yes during their induction! (Unfortunately, he did not play his Rickenbacker :( )
24. No decisions were made regarding the band without it being unanimous.
23. "Closer to the Heart". To me, that song is like a musical representation of their friendship, and it always leaves me with a warm, fuzzy feeling after listening to it.
22. Neil's books. Ghost Rider, in particular helped me get through a rough time earlier this year.
21. Geddy's Big Beautiful Book of Bass. I love that thing, and I am looking forward to his memoir in November!!!
20. That incredible Rickenbacker. I know it hasn't been his main bass since the early 80s but...
19. All their other creative projects. Geddy and Alex have a solo album each, Alex is involved with Envy of None rn, and Neil had his blog.
18. All their other stage interactions.
17. "ATTENTION ALL PLANETS OF THE SOLAR FEDERATION! WE HAVE ASSUMED CONTROL!" -"2112". Just... all of "2112".
16. They got me into prog. I wouldn't have this blog right now if it weren't for Rush.
15. The Lifeson chord. The F#7add11 voicing that you can hear in so many of their songs (it's the opening to "Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres").
14. Neil's drumming. They call him The Professor for a reason!
13. Geddy's bass playing. And his singing. And playing keys. And... yeah, we would be here all day!
12. The Dinner with Rush video. I make daily references to this that no one notices...
11. "The measure of a life / is a measure of love and respect"- "The Garden". The final song on their final album, and possibly the most amazing closer of all time.
10. Their charity work. IIRC, this includes giving away the aforementioned rotisserie chickens, as well as various fundraisers.
9. Their constant strive to improve themselves. Including Geddy working with a vocal coach, Neil working with Freddie Gruber, and of course, disavowing that Ayn Rand shit.
8. They give me something to strive towards, both as a musician and as a person. If I could make records half as good as Rush, and handle the fame with half the grace that they did, I would consider myself well-accomplished.
7. Neil's lyrics inspired me to get back into writing.
6. They inspired me to become a musician, and to pursue a career in music. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have stayed in choir or picked up bass, and I would've never considered a career in audio technology.
5. Their music helped me bond with my dad.
4. Geddy talking about his family's story of survival during the Holocaust. I think that's really important to talk about.
3. Other Rush fans. Well, okay, some of them like to brag about how many concerts they've been to, or tend to be a little gate-keep, but most of them are really chill people.
2. Their music helped me get through the toughest times in my life. Without getting too personal, I even credit them with saving my life on multiple occasions.
However, what I admire about Rush, above all else...
1. Their friendship with each other.
Once again, happy birthday Geddy! Your music has inspired me in so many ways, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it.

Jesus Talk with Jim DeFroque
It was a call-in show in that everything was pre-recorded. Jim took songs with the word Jesus in the title and read some of the lyrics and discussed if they were good songs or bad songs. Jim had the coke sniffles and snorted a line during the show. Callers mostly chimed in to argue with his analysis of lyrics. One caller was his mistress (call disconnected fast), one caller was his dealer (disconnected fast), one was I'm 90% sure Tobias Forge putting on a weird drawl to talk about ZZ Top. It all led to the premiere of Ghost's cover of "Jesus He Knows Me."
Edited to add: Jim also mentioned sponsoring a local hockey team called the Holy Hitters. Seems important to mention considering the hockey team cumshot in the music video.
Apparently Jim's show will be back next week?

Have you Googled Van Halen lately? You're not alone. Van Halen is the most searched-for classic rock band in five U.S. states, according to recent data study.
The life insurance company Sell Easy analyzed Google Trends search data of 70 iconic rock bands at their peak pre-1990 to determine the most popular classic rock band in every state.
"When discussing the who's who of classic rock bands in the U.S., a couple of names stand above the rest," Sell Easy stated in the article. "Van Halen claims the title of best classic rock band in five states with their explosive sound and virtuosic guitar playing. Their high-octane performances and catchy tunes have resonated with fans from coast to coast, as they're the most popular classic rock band in Connecticut, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, and Wisconsin."
Tumblr media
Guns N' Roses was also #1 in five states. They finished at the top in Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Virginia, and West Virginia. ZZ Top (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas) and Queen (Florida, ldaho, Maine, and Maryland) followed with top rankings in four states each.

TV reviews - Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bassists Human Too? / John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial
This week I got to review two unscripted mini-series that both dropped recently on streamers.
Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bassists Human Too?
As the singer and bassist for Rush, Geddy Lee has amassed quite a cult following. They were a thinking man's rock trio where you literally felt smarter just for listening to them. I went through a serious Rush phase as a teen. I had heard their hits, but began buying their 70s CDs one by one. I even learned some of their songs when I was taking guitar lessons. 2112, their epic rock opera, is my personal fave of their discography. In 1996, I saw the band live at the Meadowlands in NJ. Fantastic live band too. Now, Lee is getting his own limited unscripted series Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bassists Human Too? which premiered on Paramount+ last week.
Tumblr media
TV poster
Produced by Banger Films and directed by Sam Dunn (who directed the Rush doc Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage as well as Super Duper Alice Cooper, and ZZ Top: That Little Ol' Band from Texas, this is sort of like Geddy Lee's version of a travel show, where a host visits a different location each episode, talks to a local (or many), and takes in the local food and culture. The four episodes that have been released are Lee speaking with Les Claypool of Primus and The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Robert Trujillo of Metallica, Melissa Auf der Maur of Hole and Smashing Pumpkins, and Krist Novoselic of Nirvana and 3rd Secret. Lee goes to their home, does activities with them and eventually talks and plays music with them. It is very much insider-baseball for musicians.
Lee is an engaging figure and a great host. All of these subjects so far have been bassists who came along after Rush and in some cases there was overlap between their band and Rush, but I think it might be interesting if the next season was bassists who pre-dated Rush. As a huge fan of Novoselic and Auf der Maur, and very familiar with Claypool and Trujillo, I of course was fully engaged in their rapport and conversation. Novoselic showing Lee his grange and flying with him on his plane is something I could watch all day! In some instances, it's Lee discovering things he hasn't done before like surfing with Trujillo. This is a cool show for music geeks, but beyond Paul McCartney the average person can't name too many bassists, so it's nice to see bassists talking shop and then some!

John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial
The December 8, 1980 murder of John Lennon outside his NYC apartment building at the hands of deranged "fan" Mark David Chapman is one of the great tragedies in that he was such a tremendous talent taken from us at age 40 way before his time. I was only about 4 when it happened, so I don't have any "where were you when Lennon was shot" memories (although I was into the Yellow Submarine movie). In later years as I got into The Beatles and Lennon's solo work, I saw many documentaries and specials about that tragedy. Not only was Lennon in a good place and happy with wife Yoko Ono and raising his 5 year-old son Sean, but he had just released a new album Double Fantasy, his first in five years and you got the sense it was the start of a big comeback. I've visited the Lennon memorial Strawberry Fields in Central Park many times. But I digress. The tragic murder is now a 3-part documentary mini-series John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial, which just premiered on Apple TV+.
Tumblr media
TV poster
Narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, this is a deep dive into the day of the murder (what Lennon was doing leading up to the assassination, what Chapman was doing), the investigation, the trial and outcome.
Anyone who reads this blog, knows I am a lifelong Beatle and Lennon fanatic. Just recently, I got to review the documentary The Lost Weekend: A Love Story about May Pang’s relationship with Lennon and I also got to review the re-release of The Beatles’ Red and Blue albums. So I went into this very familiar with the subject. The thing that impressed me most was the depth of interview subjects, i.e. cab drivers that night, police and law enforcement that night, Dakota employees and residents, hospital staff and more. Hearing their recollections and some of the archival footage are quite impressive. But the thing that Lennon fans needs to understand going into this is that this is more of a true crime doc than a music or celebrity doc. I say this because there are very few Lennon musical collaborators other than producer Jack Douglas, and Yoko and Sean are shown in archival footage. There have been some fantastic Lennon docs in the past, notably Imagine: John Lennon (possibly the best Lennon doc there's been), The U.S. vs. John Lennon, and LennoNYC. This one is very much looking into the crime itself, the legal ramifications and the outcome. Do not expect to learn much about Lennon himself here if you're a fan, but you might learn quite a bit about Chapman (not that you necessarily want to know more about that monster). As a documentarian I can appreciate this doc series, but as Lennon fan I wanted a little more about Lennon, his family and the recording he was doing at that time, and it only scratched that surface.

It's time for the fourth part in our tour of the Unicapital
Tumblr media
Located on Wild Blue Yonder Way, Sunglow Skatepark is a lot bigger than it's pictured here. This is just the entryway to the park itself. It's very colorful and has courses for skaters and bikers with all kinds of skills. They host a x gamesesque tournament every year where the grand prize is variable and based on how many people pre-registered for the event. There was one time where this tournament offered almost half a million lolly.
Tumblr media
Cotton Candy Lane doesn't have too many businesses on it. It's more of a small crossway between Wisteria Way and the Outer Space Highway. But, two businesses have set up in this small space:
Because of the influence of Johnny Stryker, retro style arcades have come back into fashion. The place to lose all of your money on a game of the latest and greatest cabinets in the Unicapital is Neon Arcade. Most of the games that are found in this arcade are developed by people within the United Planets. Most of the pop culture of the humans doesn't tend to leak in as much, so most media is home grown. This does people make RJ and Johnny more of an exception when it comes to things like knowing about Midway games and listening to ZZ Top. The arcade does provide prizes and tickets to earn those prizes. There's a go-kart that's been on display since the beginning and no one seems to truly know how many tickets it would actually take to earn the thing.
The only representative of a chain of Frowntown convenience stores, The Lunch Box specializes in quick and easy. There is a gas station element to the store as well and they are usually a lot cheaper than the Octan stations that are more common closer to Frowntown and other parts of the galaxy.
Tumblr media
While we have Wistera Way in our heads, let's head over there now:
The Toy Kingdom is the premier store for toys and other fun things in the kingdom. Because of the toy train on the facade, when people go to the store they say that they're "taking the train to The Toy Kingdom". The toy kingdom's mascot is a little conductor and every year, a child in the kingdom can come to the store on both their birthday and Toy Day and get a free toy. Most toys are handcrafted.
The Unikingdom Museum has a very interesting donor: RJ. Yes, he cheats on a lot of his artifacts and just goes back in time to grab what the museum is asking him to get. But it's the thought that counts, right? It has one exhibition section that rotates every few months and the museum offers multiple programs to foster a love of the arts and history.
Run by identical twin raptors, Clawprint Books and Gifts is one of the more popular tourist attractions in the city. The two raptors, Rocky and Alex, are young compared to the rest of RJ's crew and are the children of two members of the squad that were lost in the Battle for Syspocalypstar. They chose to help serve the community that their commander chose to settle in, but they seem to be less willing to deal with tourists despite the book store's status as a tourist attraction. They will get books for a regular customer regardless of how easy to find the book is normally. They wear a special collar around their neck that was invented by Dr Fox to aid in communication.

Age: 48 Gender: big boy manly man Sexuality: straight...questioning...curious? (Dating @cassbrookes) Birthplace: Pittsburgh, PA Location pre-outbreak: Wayne Co., WV Town job: construction worker/maintenance man/long distance scout Previous job: boxer/bouncer/security guard/home repair man/groundskeeper Personality traits: jovial, generous, self-sacrificing, temperamental, SHY, practical
Bio:
Jack of all trades, Sol Reznik can fix just about anything if you’ve got some duct tape and WD-40 he could borrow. Born in Pittsburgh to a family of humanitarians and teachers, Sol found more satisfaction with his fists than his wits. His uncle caught on early after a few fights in grade school landed Sol in the principal’s office, and got him into boxing.
It was a good outlet for the black sheep of the family. He might just have made a whole career out of it, what with living in one of the country’s brawliest cities. But he took a hit to head that knocked a sense of mortality right into him and he gave it up. He floundered for a long time after that, taking the odd job as a bouncer or security guard without ever feeling fulfilled. Two decades of gig work—just enough to get by, but never enough to feel stable.
Then a friend of his offered him a new adventure. A maintenance job out at a state park in West Virginia. He loved it. The peace and quiet of nature was something he didn’t know could soothe him. And it wasn’t glamorous work, but fixing shit felt useful. His day got better every time he solved a problem for somebody.
When the outbreak hit, he was already in a good spot, what with campgrounds, freshwater access, and remote location. He worked with the folks who ended up stuck at the park to build a nice little community. They set it up so well, in fact, that they didn’t really need him. So he went out looking for others that he might be able to help.
In time, he came across Redwood. A survival community in its infancy, he saw its potential to be something truly self-sufficient. So he offered to help. No official leadership position, just good old-fashioned, hands-on, getting shit done. Leave it to smarter folks to make decisions. He still goes out scouting for survivors or groups that could become trading partners, but Redwood will be his home-base for as long as they’ll have him.
Headcanons:
Stereotypical Dad-Rock aficionado. If he had to pick a luxury to look out for, it's Springsteen, Steve Miller Band, and ZZ Top
Very particular about his tools. Don't fuck up his tools
Despite living near the junkyard, his RV's neat and tidy in an almost neurotic way
Has a sweet tooth like you wouldn't believe

Throwback to those golden MTV days when "Legs" by ZZ Top had my heart racing as a pre-teenage boy! 🕺💥 This song and video were just pure energy, getting my blood flowing all around my body! 💯
Today, we commemorate a true legend, as in 2021, we lost bassist Dusty Hill of ZZ Top at the age of 72. 😢 In 1968, he and drummer Frank Beard joined forces with guitarist Billy Gibbons, forming the iconic ZZ Top we all know and love. Together, they rocked the world, releasing 15 studio albums and selling a staggering 50 million records worldwide! 🌍🎶
Who can forget the blockbuster "Eliminator" (1983)? It featured two Top-40 singles that took the world by storm - 'Gimme All Your Lovin'' and the timeless anthem 'Legs'! 🎤🎸

BJYX - Thursday Madness ( 12/7/23 )
I don’t know what’s with this date that they both decided to attack us with updates. We were prepared for WYB, because the event was planned tho he still surprised us with some bits. I swear when I saw the alert on my phone for XZS update I was 🫢🫢🫢. They are both feeding us so well.
Here’s my attempt at doing a recap of the candies ( and other things ) we got today. This may not be all inclusive, I only added the popular ones being talked about.
Tumblr media
let this lovely boy invite you in….
Our day started pretty early when WYB posted on his Weibo. All of the attendees of the event were actually sharing some pre show photos on their accounts and some of us were waiting what’s he gonna post. Everyone else were sharing professional photos but then WYB goes ahead and shares a b&w photo that tells us he is still in bed 😂😂😂 this bitch. I also feel like he didn’t want to shoot outside the exclusive “town” cause there are people going around and they may crowd if he does opening shooting. The night he arrived, 12/6, everyone saw Lele / Yanyan around but no WYB. So he was really trying to not be seen unless it was time for the show.
Tumblr media
The photo itself is kinda mysterious tbh. It’s like something you can send to your s/o and be — “im waiting for you” HAHAHAHAHA! Tho I think for WYB he can send a more explicit one to XZ 🫢🫢🫢 So we get the PG version. What we noticed is the channel he is tuned in is CCTV 5. He said this in an interview with XZ, that when he is alone, he keeps the TV open with CCTV 5 and Volume 3. So he’s still doing it! Also, this was taken using his Leica M11 b&w. I feel so happy knowing that! He is still on his photography hobby. Too bad he couldn’t go around the venue cause i bet there are lots of sights to see. The Leica CPN is only getting stronger. ☺️ ( I have already talked about the Leica CPN at length, so just search it on my blog ). Side note, even if the photo was so simple it went on HS #7 lol. His power.
Then it was time for WYB to make his appearance and he didn’t disappoint. First of all, he was in YELLOW. BXG color. Yeah, it could be a stylist choice or whatever. But this is a clowning space and I think we are free to interpret it as a sign for us.
But what’s more glaring is his hat. It looks so much like the one he wore at CQL concert & fan meet. Also reminds us of the whole One Piece CPN between them ( the post i’m linking is a starter but there has been more examples since like this one ).
Tumblr media
To be fair, WYB is someone who loves a good old hat/cap. from his bucket hats & caps — that is more for anonymity. It also extends to his performances like 11/11 finesse or the initial photoshoot for ROMW. What i’m saying is, we should not forget the fact that this is his personal preference as well and not entirely because of candy. Tho I have to say that the style is interesting. Why does it have to be so close to that? It’s like he is bringing us back memory lane.
WYB is honestly so beautiful today. He always is but there was something about his aura. He is chill. He was genuinely interested and i found it sweet of him, during the boat ride, he was clapping for Rocco, like applauding him for the event i guess. In the meantime, on Weibo, the top hot search were people criticizing the “boat” thing on GQ ( literally something like GQ boat embarrassment was the tag ) As soon as the live started it went on 1 or 2. I don’t know if Bobo saw that but I just like how he showed his appreciation to Rocco, and by extension, his team. That’s just my interpretation and it could be a completely different thing but knowing WYB, he is very generous with acknowledging people.
Tumblr media
I also want to address another “candy” some cpfs are laughing about, it’s a fancam where Rocco moves to sit with WYB before the boat sailed and WYB smiled and said no. They were interpreting that as WYB doesn’t want Rocco to sit with him. Speculating that as he doesn’t want to get close cause ZZ will be jealous. But if you look at it, he was asked if he wants to switch seats. WYB declined. He was okay with his position. I guess some people have some beef with Rocco & GQ and that’s fine. However, what we feel about certain things is not the same as what the boys would feel. I also think that at this point, It’s in WYB’s best interest to have a good relationship with people in the industry. For example him attending 10c Starlight, even if a lot of his so/os hate Tencent ( and with good reason ok sure ). He is only extending his reach and it’s better to not burn bridges.
That got serious, so here, have some comparison between the gremlin in 2018 to now. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Tumblr media
I was cackling at the comments that they should have invited XZ so they can be paired up and quarrel for 9 mins 😂😂😂😂
NEXT UP IS GG’s VLOG. I don’t know why it slipped my mind, they usually post on Thursdays, but anyway —
The first thing is the BGM for the exercise section of the vlog Hans Zimmer/Richard Harvey《Preparation》 which was used in the 2015 movie The Little Prince. A favorite CPN symbol among us. Another glaring one is Uptown Funk. Hello. Bruno Mars? That’s WYB’s thing. Yes, ZZ has his own team who edits these but I am one of those that believes ZZ approves the final cut. He is also asked about certain choices cause let’s be honest — his suggestions matter cause he knows what looks good. He is a professional in that aspect too.
Next is his hand held fan! It’s the same brand but a different design. They finally upgraded!!!! 🥹🥹
Tumblr media
This scene (p1) with ZZ’s fondness for leaning on railings and balconies. It reminds me of the fake rumor before that WYB hates it when he does that.
XZ has a habit of lying on the balcony guardrail in a daze. Sometimes on a higher floor, WYB feels unsafe and won’t let XZ get close to the guardrail. Except for shooting, XZ is prohibited from approaching the balcony guardrail.
Tumblr media
I would have loved to get some more day to day bits of his vacation cause there is usually more candy in that. I want to see him roaming around, like this part, these two love to mimic what they see and take a photo beside it. Tho this is mostly GG’s thing. They really have the same braincell.
Tumblr media
LASTLY, Let’s discuss XZS 🤝 YBO.
XZS starts talking about the hot wind, which is most likely talking about the weather in Singapore. But then minutes later, here comes YBO talking about a comfortable breeze. Lol. The the hot could also allude to that “summer” since WYB decided to remind us all with his photo and hat. Then YBO’s caption, drawing more attention to his hat, knowing that CPFs are clowning over it.
and what time did they post their last set for the day?? 00:38. These clowns. Zhan Bo. 🫢
Tumblr media
Some are saying it’s out of character for XZS to post stuff like this when there is an event going on. For example today, the hot search is filled with talk about GQ. Which I can agree on to some degree, but his team have been posting mostly on Thursdays and they are already “due” for a vlog. However, when they have a vlog ready, the fans can usually see it on Weibo, we know that there will be something coming and i didn’t see any talk of that today. Or maybe i missed it? Others are clowning that this is his “answer” to WYB’s strong candy today, i personally don’t think so but it’s all good for us cause we have so much content!!!!! 💛
BONUS: this transition 👀👀👀👀. Their editors are dating!!!!!!

Guitar rig setup

#GUITAR RIG SETUP PRO#
We found that these two new amps can be used together to great effect. Joining the pre-existing 15 amps are the Van 51, which is clearly a Peavey 5150 emulation, and Hot Solo +, which appears to be a Soldano imitation, judging by the logo – the knob style and labels hint at Soldano’s Hot Rod 50 model. Initially, it might seem excessive that over a third of the GUI is given over to the (hideable) browser panel, but in our opinion, the most effective way of getting familiar with Guitar Rig is via the presets.Ī lot of time has been put into these, and famous tones such as those of Satriani, Van Halen, Rammstein, ZZ Top, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC are all on hand. It runs standalone or as a VST/AU/RTAS plug-in. The software comes as part of Komplete 8, too. We’re reviewing the software-only version here, but don’t forget that there’s the Kontrol edition too, bundled with the Rig Kontrol foot controller.
#GUITAR RIG SETUP PRO#
With this latest version, there are two new amp models, Control Room Pro for advanced mix-and-match cab/mic combos, six new effects, and a few crafty functional extras. Guitar Rig is easily one of the most feature-packed guitar/bass amp sims on the market, yet it remains one of the most user-friendly. Real guitar gear is known for its so-easy-a-guitarist-could-use-it simplicity, and yet virtual amp simulators continue to grow in complexity and capability. Native Instruments Guitar Rig 5 Pro Can this jazzed-up amp sim’s tonal output match its flexibility?

Album Reviews: Jimi Hendrix Experience / Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
This week I got to review two recent live album releases from rock legends gone too soon:
Jimi Hendrix Experience Los Angeles Forum: April 26, 1969
It wouldn’t been the holiday season without a pre-holiday release of a live recording from Jimi Hendrix Experience. Since beginning this blog, I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing the posthumous album Both Sides of the Sky, the 50th anniversary Deluxe Edition of Electric Ladyland, the 50th anniversary re-release of his live album Band of Gypsys, his live box set Songs for Groovy Children: The Fillmore East Concerts, the live album and movie Live in Maui and last year’s Record Store Day release Paris ‘67. Now just in time for what would have been Jimi’s 80th birthday on Nov. 27, Legacy released Los Angeles Forum: April 26, 1969. It marks the first time this entire concert is being released as an album (some tracks have appeared on some compilations).
Tumblr media
album cover
By April 1969, the Jimi Hendrix Experience had already released their incredible studio albums Are You Experienced,  Axis: Bold as Love, and Electric Ladyland. The trio was a well-oiled machine: bassist Noel Redding, drummer Mitch Mitchell and of course guitarist / singer Jimi Hendrix were bigger than the sum of their parts. All the big Hendrix hits were played, but among the surprises were a cover of Hansson and Karlsson’s “Tax Free”, Francis Scott Key’s “Star Spangled Banner” months before the legendary performance at Woodstock in August 1969, and Cream’s “Sunshine of Your Love” (a frequent cover of the band). The liner notes include a preface from ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, who attended that show and had previously opened for JHE with his pre-ZZ Top band Moving Sidewalks.

They could easily release a different JHE concert once a year and it would likely please fans. Because Hendrix died at age 27 in 1970 we need to cherish everything he did record and leave us. While it is true that there have been a lot more Hendrix releases after he died than in his lifetime, I think the live albums that haven’t been released yet are pretty cool. This one sounds fantastic and it’s a gift for fans to get to hear JHE in their prime at this point and time.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Live at the Fillmore, 1997
Tumblr media
album cover
One of the great regrets I have a concert-goer is that I never got to see Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers live. I’m kicking myself for skipping their shows at Great Woods in 1995, Fenway Park in 2014, Mudcrutch at House of Blues in 2016 and their final Boston show they played at TD Garden just months before Petty died in October 2017. The group have released numerous live albums and were always a great live band. From January 10 to February 7, 1997 they had a 20-show residency at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco. The new live album Live at the Fillmore, 1997 is being released today from Warner Bros. in various formats. I got to review the 4-CD edition. This release is from six of the shows that were professionally recorded.
I first discovered The Heartbreakers around 1985 when their album Southern Accents, which was actually the band’s 6th album. I was a kid just discovering music and one of the music videos that blew me away at that time was “Don’t Come Around Here No More”, a psychedelic rock homage to Alice In Wonderland with Petty as the Mad Hatter. I liked their tunes and picked up the album on cassette tape. Throughout the 90s (my high school and college years), Petty was always on in the background. Whatever I was into at the time (alternative, punk, metal, etc) Petty was always an old standby. By the time of the Fillmore shows, the band had just released the highly underrated soundtrack to Ed Burns’ She’s the One in 1996. The band had been releasing albums for two decades and Petty occasionally did solo albums and side projects like The Traveling Wilburys.

Petty at the Fillmore in 1997
This is a looooong live album assembled from several of the Fillmore shows. 4 hours and 4 minutes to be precise and that’s just the 4-CD version I heard. There’s some serious gems in there: loads of covers, guests like Roger McGuinn and John Lee Hooker, and a lot of their mid-90s music. This is a testament to what a great live act they were. Crank it up and let it play....all day.

Some Individuals Excel At Metal Pipe Lamp And some Don't - Which One Are You?
But in March 2000, when the tech bubble burst, those who didn't get out early sufficient have been left with nothing however shattered desires. A combat occasion is defined as two or more individuals, who are fighting to a degree that must be interfered. Below we might be going over essentially the most well-known algorithms, equivalent to Sune, Sledgehammer, and lots of extra. Executing both one as soon as will make the case that the opposite one solves. I've a medium-sized one. We've got evaluated 122956 reviews from prime experts. POSTSUBSCRIPT move. Clearly such a cubie is just not in the top layer initially. POSTSUBSCRIPT transfer initially of the algorithm. POSTSUBSCRIPT) after which proceeding by means of transfer sequence m1,… Specifically, given a randomly scrambled Rubik’s Cube, DNNs learn to foretell the last move of the scramble, which is conditional on distributions of possible paths to the aim state. Our preliminary experiments have shown that with completely cubic shape, the general Rubik’s cube model was extremely unforgiving. Essentially https://3dmetalpuzzles.com ’s Cube is valued at $1.6 million.
To solve this cube firstly it's possible you'll must match every roulette shade and sequence numbers and then every surface shade. There are 6 coloration surface, 6 roulette wheels with numbers on it. There will undoubtedly be more, as with any list, however these are probably the most well-known and well-known. Finally, in the participation motivation part, we argue that in settings where brokers could also be each requesters and suppliers of information (resembling service-oriented environments) brokers will probably be particularly motivated to assist when recommendations are requested. The new iPad Pros are the first iPads to feature Apple's M1 chip, which was Apple's first customized silicon chip designed for the Mac. All that’s left is to finish the first two steps of the proof. It's used to permute 2 opposite edges and two adjacent corners, and the shape of those pieces to permute when seen from above makes a T, hence the name. It was additionally coined by Petrus in the tactic of the same name. That is, because the identify implies, the reverse of sexy. It's much less used, but remains to be quite distinguished in F2L, the place the triple sexy is frequently changed with triple reverse sexy as it is alleged to be quicker.
Yow will discover it in F2L, OLL, and PLL and, if repeated 6 times on a cube, will convey it back to the same state it was in before. The majority of these will likely be CFOP algorithms, and a few can be utilized in different methods reminiscent of Petrus, ZZ and Roux. This is a set off that is used in a whole lot of algorithms, and in F2L. A Rubik's Cube algorithm offered within the Beginner's method is U R U’ L’ U R’ U’ L, used to cycle the three nook items on the upper layer, when the first two layers (F2L) are solved. Clinically proven method to deal with UTI infections. It was proposed by Lars Petrus in his Petrus technique. It's used in every technique that forces an EPLL (a PLL of only the edges, in other words, all corners are pre-solved) together with Petrus. This can be a PLL (Position Last Layer) algorithm. It remains to be an OCLL, however the algorithm is mirrored. It's a part of a special subcategory called OCLL, which means that it solely orients the corners (is used when all edges are oriented). Sune is an OLL algorithm, which suggests it orients the final layer.
As referenced by the identify, Anti-Sune is the alternative of Sune. It's not the only OLL to look like this however it's recognizable from the 2 opposite going through blocks that the unoriented items make. The H perm is a PLL algorithm that swaps 2 units of opposite edges. The T perm is maybe essentially the most well-known PLL algorithm, with its only competition being the U perms (above) and the J perms (beneath). It's 6 moves long, and the other T formed algorithm along with Key, above. Degree of permutations - see above. See the 3D widget will let you'll be able to the turns used in speedcubing. Speed/smoothness: How simply. Quickly a face will flip. Try to place three marbles in a row in one quadrant and two in a row in one other, which, whenever you twist the blocks, will line as much as create a row of 5, hopefully without tipping off your opponent and leading to a blocked line. DeepCube is ready to teach itself the way to reason in order to resolve a posh setting with only one reward state utilizing pure reinforcement learning. But now we might add clauses which aren't logically implied, and we additionally would possibly remove clauses (this is required now to be able to allow certain additions, which could rely on international circumstances).
