I forgot Perrie existed so uh

Yeah I got bored and they popped back up in my mind.

Thinking of doing an ask blog of them,,, Dunno I’ll see abt that 🤷

I also wanted to try and make their face smaller and their paws bigger. I just need to develop that so minor changes will be made the more and more you guys see them.

K that’s it,,, I’m passing out for the next 24 hours or at least until I get notified I need to absorb sunlight some how from my body again.

More abt Perrie

See I thought I was out of Perrie’s chokehold too, but then I started doodling them and realized, “Oh wow,,,, I forgot any of them even HAD side quests.”

So,,, here’s my attempt on their side quests

They have only 2 side quests when trying to bring everyone back, being one of the easier ones to help out and/or convince back to snaxburg. Though, to be fair nobody even remembered they were on the expedition so,,, here’s side quests they had when they went back to snaxburg.

The journalist is orange text, Perrie is blue text when Perrie whispers it turns into pink text

Needed Treason!

Bring 2 different bugsnax that’re the opposite of each other! 0/2

This one basically is because Perrie doesn’t know how to tell you in the nicest way possible that they couldn’t care less in what you’re doing

The dialogue!

“You need any help?”

Perrie will look side to side confused and awkward, shyly stammering out words, yanno like they always do.

“Uh, s-sure???”

They don’t look sure of themselves, they’ll demolish their claws and fur around said claws (little reference to me :P)

“I uhm, need you to uhhh….. Give me two bugsnax that uhm, are the opposite of each other.”

If you do give them it, you don’t feed them the bugsnax. Feeding them isn’t an option anyway, they donate it to gramble cause they know he’ll keep the bugsnax safe.

Need Treason….. Again?

Bring a charmallow back to Perrie! 0/1

Okay, this time they’re just trying to give you hints that they don’t even want and or need anything.

When you come back to them and pick the dialogue “let’s chat” they say this,

“I have this friend. They’re nice to be around, I just wished they weren’t so smother smother, y’know?”

They stare into your soul saying this

“Anything else?”

Perrie can’t help but feel obligated to answer with a yes despite not understanding miscommunication can lead to worse things than simply declining,,, soooooo

“Uhhhh,,, yeeeeeeeyes! I think. I need you to um. Well, more like uh—“

“What happened to those bugsnax I gave you?”

Or

“So,, we goin’ to ignore the fact the bugsnax I gave you seem to be in gramble’s barn?”

Yeah those are options, this makes perrie sweat puddles they’re fearful as if it was life or death

“OH! Th- well, uhm. They were yum…my. I, uh liked the *insert bugsnax you gave them* you had gotten me- it was so delightful, I had to stop myself from eating them, and gave them to gramble!”

“Gramble doesn’t eat bugsnax.”

“OH! I just remembered what I wanted! Uhm, I need you to uh, get me one of those charmallows, they look like they’re in pain being on fire like that.”

You get them the charmallow

“You actually got it. Do your paws burn? How did you catch it?”

“Well- Nevermind that, sorry for that uhm. Here how about you come back some OTHER time? Maybe NOT tomorrow or…. EVER?”

The dialogue hints the journalist doesn’t get it

“Alright! See you soon!”

No More Treason…?

Here’s an idea, confrontation, that isn’t bad!

Perrie has had it they don’t know how to tell you but in the end figure out how

“Hey, howzitgoin?”

“OH grump you did come back-“

“UH, pretend I didn’t say anything. Heard about this ‘Rootle’ from wiggle the other day. Well, more like I overheard. I want a Rootle! To,,, uhhhh, for the mother of Naturea!”

Alright now they’re just making it obvious

“None of that made the slightest sense.”

Or

“What does that mean?”

“OKAY, okay, I was afraid you’d find this really crappy of me, but I didn’t need anything from you. I just felt like you’d leave me alone one way or another if I just kept sending you AWAY from me.”

“So I did ALL of that… At what cost?”

Or

“Oh! You could’ve just said so!!!”

If you pick the first one you get,

“Well….. You get my respect??? And besides, I was to scared to tell you! You’re a stranger that I don’t even know the name of!! How was I supposed to know how’d you take it??”

If you picked the second option

“You’re a stranger that I don’t even know the name of!! How was I supposed to know how’d you take it??”

You then leave them. After the quest’s when you press “let’s chat” they say

“That friend of mine understood me. I’m,,,, surprised but relieved. Maybe I should try communicating with others more often..”

You teach them that not everyone is out to get them if they have an opposing opinion. Which they show in the much later fights, where if anyone DID say anything about a grump they had as a friend, they’d slightly fight back but best they can do is a comeback so foul, it shuts the other up.

That my friends is mediocre character development from an awesome plot that makes the character development challenging cause you want the development to have the same vibes as the other grumps.

There’s more I want to uncover but I’ll just do that in the reblogs later once I figure that out

Alright, decided to work on a ask blog surrounded Perrie cause 1

Everything from their past design is no longer their lore, and now I’m on the hunt to make new lore.

I’ll do a pin post abt it,,,, but because I’m such a small creator and I don’t have much followers I’m going to start applying the reblogs over likes sorta deal.

I appreciate any and all feedback, likes including, and understand the troubles some go through in order to reblog art like mine,,,, but it’d really help if you reblogged it!!

Perrie’s interview!

Perrie will appear behind Cromdo’s hut as the shadowy figure you see in the campfire party is behind Cromdo’s hut.

Perrie’s idle looks like a mid-20’s New Yorker that looks outside their window just to give the people that are passing by the most disappointed look in history as his red wardrobe just sorta looks like it got more coffee than they actually did.

If you press the interview option you will be given a few dialogues from them, before you start.

They say, “Oh. Yay… So much for private information.”

Dialogue options:

“We don’t have to do the interview.”

Or

“Start interview.”

If you press the first one you’ll get the response;

“No! No! It’s fine. Plus, you’ll probably lose your job.” They just want attention.

First question:

Who are you?

“Perrie Budgeirony.”

And…what do you do for a living…?

“I sleep. I sleep and have a nice cup of caffeinated chocolate sauce.”

That’s not an actual job…

“I’m not good at much things without my sketchbook…”

Why come to snaktooth island?

“I came here by accident. I thought it was a regular boat, I was supposed to clean the boat before realizing I fell asleep due to lack of caffeine that day. Then I ended up here…”

You have issues.

“*sarcastic voice* Oh gee that’s a big surprise.”

Thoughts on bugsnax?

“They’re strange. I don’t like them. One, because they’re very hard to catch, I’m to lazy for that, and two, they’re toxins.”

So I take it you talk with Shelda?

“Oh no, no, no, no. I’m to scared to talk with her. I get nervous being around her even though my existence isn’t really a secret anymore.”

How does that work?

“It doesn’t.”

What do you know about lizbert?

“I know that she’s missing. Maybe she got lost, I don’t know… I don’t know much about lizbert. I didn’t have the chance to talk with her, and she never stayed long enough for me to know much.”

Why’d you leave snaxburg?

“I was bored and found beautiful scenery in simmering springs. Once I saw the campfire I took my sketchbook and headed to my normal hiding spot. Seems you caught me though…”

Why were you hiding?

“I’m scared of almost all of you. I’d rather have a few friends then befriend people I have a hard time talking with.”

That’s all. That didn’t really help, but, I guess your a decent grump.

“Ouch. But thanks I guess.”

Edit: I forgot to add this but, I got inspired by skooble’s interview. I thought it was very neat and fun to read. I’m afraid to @ them, but I’m sure you can search for em’ if you’d like to read it on your own. Go ahead and show them some appreciation for their hard work on their interview of skooble!!

I was bored and felt like writing more info about my grumpsona Perrie.

I’m obsessed with perrie now ;-; I can’t stop doodling and sketching them out, my sketchbook is just perrie. So here’s more useless info!

Perrie fears everyone, but, the grump(s) they fear most is Wambus and Beffica.

They think Beffica is cool, they just wish they knew how to start a convo with her.

Perrie rides home successfully, however, they become horribly injured from trying to help filbo AND help fend off bugsnax.

Perrie, back at mainland, was a underpaid store clerk. So they basically lived in a trashed dorm room disguised as a roach infested apartment.

They have other family. I’m just too lazy to really elaborate on that.

Perrie likes the peace and quiet and music plays a big part of their life. Visual arts of all sorts as well. (Except for dancing. in the major celebration they sit near floofty’s hut and the entrance of sugarpine woods instead of dancing with the group.)

Their last name isn’t actually Budgeirony. It’s katz. They changed it cause no one would take them seriously.

I might draw some comics in regards to this. Maybe some comics of them interacting with the others and the two journalists I made up. Who knows 🤷
