I’d like to share with you all my favorite place on earth, my hometown,

Sebastopol, California

Sebastopol is this lovely medium sized hippie town with wonderful diverse people, tons of things to do, and excellent weather all the time. It’s a paradise, and I didn’t realize that until I moved to New Hampshire, where, no offense, it’s kinda boring and cold! So I felt like I should share some delights of this place and prompt you to visit someday!

If you consider yourself artsy and strange you will love this. There’s an awesome old man named Patrick Amiot who uses recycling and makes art pieces for people’s yards, and there’s a whole street of them!

Another excellent plus is the food, most notably desserts, my two favorite places are Honey Moon Frozen Yogurt and Screamin’ Mimi’s (yes, the one from Judy Moody, the author is from there!)

There’s lots of cool art and colors in Screamin’ Mimi’s!

Another great place where I spent most of my time growing up was the Laguna Skate Garden, a skate park with an attached community garden tended to by people who lived nearby.

Found this yesterday outside @loch_gallery by Patrick Amiot (who doesn't have an instagram account) . But from his website Patrickamiot.com - it says that him and his wife Brigitte Laurent create art out of 'junk' - meaning recycled ♻ material. They used car 🚗 parts and even a street car in their creations Always passed this and didn't realize they make their art 🎨 from landfill. They have a giant mountie out front that has been sold I fell in love with this tucan wearing a dunce cap sitting on a perch It's tucked behind the gallery.
