I just *clenches fist* want to make my own dvd boxsets SO BAD

#ramblings of a lunatic #IF THEY WON'T MAKE INFINITY TRAIN AND OWL HOUSE BOXSETS THEN MAYBE I WILL #like. the easy step is pirating a clean copy and then burning it onto a dvd #it's not a skill I'm good at but i could always get my old man to show me how. no biggie! #but then part of me is also sitting here like. so how do they print the custom designs on dvds? #like you know how there will be fully rendered art on the actual disk?? yeah how do they do that. i wanna do it #PICTURE IT putting the owl house s1 poster on the s1 discs (2 discs- one for 1A and one for 1B) #then putting the s2 poster on the s2 discs #JUST. IT'D BE COOL! YKNOW! #and then idk about dvd covers/cases. I'd probably just buy empty dvd cases off amazon or ebay and print out wrap around covers #it's like. idk if this is a project I'll do this year (maybe wait til s3 of toh is finished and then when that's done do infinity train?) #but i saw that post abt pirating things that only have digital releases and turning them into physical media #and im just like. how do i do that in the most extra way possible?
