#🎃 cryptid sighting #Adventures around Portland #Okay I’m (predictably) in love with Ground Kontrol #It wasn’t the vapor wave paradise arcade I kinda hoped it would be -definitely more of a utilitarian vibe #-but that wasn’t a detraction because it was still fabulous #SO MANY PINBALL MACHINES! #Tbh that was the main draw for me- I’m not very good but I love weird/gimmicky pinball and they had more than I’ve seen 1 place in eons #And THIS! This machine! The Bally Addams Family machine holds a special place in my heart as the one that got me into pinball as a kid #I killed many hours and what little allowance I got on the one at our local theater. Never got gud but that never mattered much to me #I spent some time on the video game cabinets too but they were more in demand & I didn’t want to get in anyone’s way #So glad I finally went! #Now I’m going to hide in my nice quiet apartment for the next few days hdhdhdh #Alas no Polybius cabinet- I half expected one of the ‘recreations’ to be tucked in a dark corner in one of the side rooms somewhere #- what with it being a local conspiracy theory/legend and all
