lemme just show yall how obsessed with hp i was at one point.

like,, this is what my room looks like. hjdgas. i also collect all zi books including the book abt the magical world, tales of beetle the bard, the history of quidditch, and also a few of the illustrated versions. Ive read the books sincee about 6 years ago and i was obsessed for maybe 4 years after. Although i still love it a lott my brain has been occupied with other stuff like levihan atla she-ra tdp jjk etc soo ive lost the obsessiveness of interest i had before. But, when i liked HP i was generally extremely young (ppl from discord can confirm since they know how young i am even now) so i didnt pay attention to ships much at all and didnt know shit about fandoms and fanfiction. I mostly focused on lore and watched a lottt of lore videos. I memorized the black family tree like i was THAT obsessed. My fav hp youtubers were The Bakeey (AND THEIR SNAPE OBSESSION OMFG I LOVE THEM), Cherry Wallis, and Tessa Netting. omg this is bring sm memories of me watching them after school.

but about your question, i never paid attention to ships much at all but i really liked all the canon ships. Romione was fucking adorable and harry x ginny was too (BUT THEY BUTCHERED GINNYS CHARACTER IN THE MOVIES AND I WILL NOT STOP SCREAMING ABT IT). At first, like in the earlier books i definitely shipped Harry and Hermione together but after reading all the books and analyzing the series their friendship is just. mwah. i also somewhat shipped draco and hermione because the enemies to lovers chemistry is just mwah. this is genuinely making me want to check out hp fics omgg. pls send me recs for any ship tbh idrc.
