"And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.."~ Numbers 21:9.

The scripture Numbers 21:9 has been used to show that the Kundalini energy is good to use because of the BRASEN SERPENT Moses used was good. This is far from the TRUTH. Kundalini energy has nothing to do with the brazen serpent in Numbers 21:9. Kundalini comes from the Sanskrit word “kundal,” which means a "spiral" or "coil." Kundalini energy is associated with INDIAN MYSTICISM, TANTRA, and YOGA.

The origin of the Nagas is, they are the sons of Kadru (the TAWNY ONE). Naga means “SERPENT” in vedic Sanskrit, it is referring to the people who have full access to the Kundalini energy “SERPENT SPIRIT”. So, since the Naga created SANSKRIT and the word Kundalini derived from SANSKRIT and is associated with Indian MYSTICISM. We should be able to see how this is pagan worship mixed with doctrines of men. Yes! This practice is very ancient, however, that does not mean Israelite's are allowed to do these practices.

This serpent spirit (Kundalini energy) rises along the spine, causing various levels of self-realization while obtaining and releasing various spiritual (occult) powers known as SIDDHIS. These occult siddhis powers include levitation, magic, and clairvoyance etc. Everything that was just listed, the children of Israel are commanded to stay away from.

Leviticus 19:31 – “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Most High your Elohim (ALHYM.)”

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 –“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Most High: and because of these abominations the Most High thy Elohim (ALHYM) doth drive them out from before thee.”

Let’s get some understanding on what was going on in

Numbers 21:9, for Moses to make a SERPENT OF BRASS and put it upon a pole. In Numbers chapter 21 the King of the Canaanites and Israel started fighting and so he took some of them as prisoners. Israel vowed a vow to The Most High, that if he delivered the Canaanites in their hands, then they would destroy the city of the Cananites. The Most High heard their vow, and delivered up the Canaanites and Israel destroyed them and their cities. After that, they continued on their journey, however because the journey was a long journey, Israel began to become discouraged. So, what does Israel do? They started to SPEAK AGAINST THE MOST HIGH AND MOSES saying, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul despise this light bread.” This act the children of Isreal did, they were commanded not to do, according to TORAH, Exodus 22:28, The Most High commanded them saying, “Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.” So, when the children of Israel did this, of course The Most High heard them and he sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many Israelite's died. Israel then goes to Moses and says, “We have sinned, for we have SPOKE AGAINST THE MOST HIGH, AND AGAINST THEE; pray unto the Most High, that he take away the serpents from us.” So, Moses prayed for the people. the Most High then said unto Moses, “Make thee a fiery SERPENT, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that everyone that is bitten, when he look upon it, shall live.” Moses then makes a SERPENT OF BRASS, and set it upon a POLE, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the SERPENT OF BRASS, he lived.

Now that we have that understanding, you should be able to see, being COMMANDED by The Most High to make a SERPENT OF BRASS and to place it on a pole, so that when others look upon they will not get bitten, has nothing to do with Kundalini energy (Serpent Spirit) going up ones spine, releasing various spiritual (occult) powers such as, levitation, magic, and clairvoyance etc. Remember Leviticus 19:31 and Deuteronomy 18:10-12 commands Israelites to stay away from these practices and people that do these practices. Malachi 3:5 “And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith Yahuah of hosts.”

When king Hezekiah became king of Judah and he did that which was right in the eyes of the Most High, he went through the land and got rid of everything that was PAGAN WORSHIP. One of the things he made sure he broke in pieces was THE BRASEN SERPENT, that Moses had made, because in those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it; and it was called “NEHUSHTA". The term means "a brazen thing, a mere piece of brass" (2 Kings 18:1-4). As years and generations had come and gone, Israel could not shake off this practice. When the Kingdom of Hueda/Whydah (Judah) was on the west coast of Africa, right before the Trans- Atlantic slaves trade, the Huedans (Judeans) had a PYTHON DEITY called “Dangbe or Dangbwe,” The worship of Dangbe goes back to ancient times. The ritual observances revolve around worship of the PYTHON (snake god). Huedans considered Dangbe to have the ability to check movement and create zones of inclusion and protection.

HaMashiach made a comparison to the bronze serpent in John 3:14, by saying, “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up, because whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” This is only a comparison being made. He is not saying for you to go and practice kundalini energy so you can start conjuring up spirits, that is not what he is saying. He is just saying, the son of man shall be lifted up, like Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, and just like when the Israelites looked upon the serpent and was healed, so shall those who believe in HaMashiach not perish, but shall heal and have eternal life. HaMashiach made it very clear that he is the TRUTH, the LIFE and the WAY and that he is the light of the world (John 8:12) and that you, house of Israel, are the LIGHT of the world (Matt. 5:14) and to let your LIGHT shine before men, that they may see your GOOD works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

What we must take heed too is, the Israelites are commanded to not follow the practices of the nations that are round about them. Israelites are to be the royal priesthood on this planet and only worship the Most High and nothing else, because we were to be the light to all the other nations. Our ancestors were commanded not to make any images and worship them. As you can see the Israelites chose to worship a snake and many other things that were of other nations. This is one of the reasons the Israelites went into captivity placed amongst other nations that were our enemies and their kingdom fail. (Deut. 6:14; Deut. 18:10-12; Judges 2:12; Judges 10:6-14; 1 Chron 16:26; 2 Chron. 25:14-15; 2 Chron. 28:23; Isaiah 2:8-9; Jer. 32:30-35).

"But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Revelations 21:8
