Actor Rahul Mahajan and his wife Natalya Ilina have been in home quarantine after their cook tested positive for coronavirus.
The cook was immediately hospitalised. Meanwhile, Rahul and his wife have tested negative for Covid-19.

Rahul told Times of India in an interview, “Natalya and I initially panicked a bit, when her cook tested positive and was taken to the hospital. We are now waiting for him to return home after getting well. We were worried that we would also test positive. However, in the last few days, I have realised that one should not become a victim of fear even before being tested or treated for the disease.”
Talking about life in quarantine, he shared, “Right now, we can’t go out to buy groceries and so, we are ordering food from outside. I have learnt that in the current scenario, one has to stay calm and positive and take the necessary precautions. I want to tell people that we are all in this together and will face the situation and fight this. I am thankful to all workers who are contributing towards the society.”

Glad about quitting drinking and smoking, he revealed, “It wasn’t easy, but I managed to do it. I suffer from hypertension and diabetes, and wanted to focus on my health. I also started working out regularly, so hopefully, my immunity has improved.”

Nach Baliye 9: Shrenu Parekh slaps Rahul Mahajan while rehearsing for the grand premiere
One of the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye is all set to be back with it’s ninth season and the star performers are already preparing for the premiere night by rehearsing for their act.
In one such rehearsal, Rahul Mahajan and Shrenu Parekh, the guest couple who have been invited to perform at the Grand Premier of the show, got so deep into the rehearsal that Rahul Mahajan actually asked Shrenu to slap him.
Shrenu Parekh slaps Rahul Mahajan
The couple was rehearsing on the song ‘Second Hand Jawani’ which required Shrenu to slap Rahul for the comic act in the form of the choreography that had been taught to them.
Although Shrenu was hesitant to slap Rahul, he went ahead and asked Shrenu to do so as he felt it would look more convincing and add a realistic touch to the act.
While talking to IWMBuzz.com, Shrenu said, “It was a fun experience, too much fun with the act, the performance and the rehearsals. It was such a painful thing to do. He kept saying chalega tu slap kar koi problem nahi. And to be honest, last shot mein I kinda slapped him hard. But he’s a great sport. It’s exciting there will be lots of twists and turns and it’ll be great to watch this year’s ‘Nach’.”
